Hi,
Today I have sent the missing form to CIC, Hope that cic will accept my application. My actual sent date was 29th May 2013, so i think by the time my application gets open my missing doc courier will reach there.

No, UBI was not able to trace the clearance. They said the local bank will send a mail to the clearing bank at Nova Scotia and they will in turn take 15 working days to respond if the DD is cleared or not.

We cannot expect our local banks to keep sending mails on and off, so i had to wait for the mail from the CIC.!!



@ june17th2174- the courier i used was FEDEX.

Apply online for PCC, using link: http://www.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink

take a print out of the application, ur passport, change of address proof if any,

Go to your local passport seva kendra office between 9-10:30 am, pay the fees, go through the procedure. (It will take a minimum of 4 hours).

If there is no change of address from the passport to the address you currently live in India, they will issue the PCC across the table
If there s change from the current address u are living in India to the address in the passport, it will take 15-20 days for the PCC, you should again go to your local passport seva kendra to collect your PCC

Please note that my permanent address is XXXX and my passport address is YYYY. currently I am in India only at ZZZZ address. yes, as per your answer i need to change my passport address for fast PCC process. but is there any problem if i make my passport address(YYYY) same as my permanent address(XXXX)? or i have to make passport address as current address(ZZZZ) for fast PCC process? and how much time it takes to change the address in passport?
