marks should be calculated according to CLB level of each ability so in my opinion
you should get 20 points .

I think you can wait for a week or two. Right now, CIC is processing 10-13th May applications.

Hi guys,
As I already said, don't relay on that info. David Cohen is not CIC official person authorized to make statements. That info is from 2012 and we cannot be sure is it still valid or they changed completely the rules.
If it possible someone from the Indian guys who already have CC/DD charge and PER clarify what proof of BC they have sent.

I too am skeptical.....but ya d info he gave is giving a li'l comfort and that's it ....it's only for the moment....I'm waiting for my dear friends with PER reply to me at least they could just say whether they sent BC copies or something else

Agreed. I would also recommend to spray a few drops of finest trendy perfume (preferably French) on your papers.
That will definitely differentiate your application amongst others and will help to tune the officer who is reviewing it in the right mood, besides it shows him that you have a stylish and refined personality and Canada will benefit greatly from having you as their PR and citizen.
I used Baccarat Les Larmes Sacrees de Thebes. It is way too expensive and hot, they must like it.

Besides, a stylish and refined envelop, preferably handmade by famous artist, slightly different size than ordinary, curved corners, will make a difference.

And don't forget about you signature, it must be neat and tidy and artistic at the same time, as it tells a lot about your personality, you never know they might be using graphology in their selection process.

P.S. I also put a 100USD bill in my package, just in case if none of above would work out, to greatly improve officer's attitude. After all, we all human and have families to feed. ;D

wow, how many pages on indian BCs!!! Why not make it a separate topic??..I guess many ppl will be interested in it and also we don't mix the info we share here with this particular subject...It's just my opinion, hope it doesn't bother anyone ;D

As for next week, let's hope we'll have an update on Monday and at least 15 CC/DD encashed : !!!!!

My understanding is that the link I earlier provided has a table and if going by CLB level, applicant can get only discrete marks like 16 , 20 or 24 , which
I believe should not be the case and other thing is , why the table is needed for calculating individual marks for each ability ( please note , I am mentioning the table at the end of the page )

Guys, I'll be in a different city from Monday for 5-6 days. Can't say it's a holiday but I'll try to make it after work hours. So limited visit to the forum for the entire next week but I'll keep looking for 'good news' here. Hope CIC speeds up a bit and move on to charging May 20th apps in the next week.
