DON'T KNOW THE FATE OF ALL THOSE WHO SUBMITTED OLD GENERIC APPLICATION FORM.
CIC LETTER STATES THAT "THE NEW INSTRUCTIONS REQUIRE THAT APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED ACCORDING TO THE APPLICATION KIT REQUIREMENTS IN PLACE AT THE TIME THE APPLICATION IS RECEIVED AT THE CIO."
Also checklist states that THE APPLICATION FORM WHICH YOU COMPLETED IS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE. IN ORDER TO CONTINUE PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS TO BE COMPLETED. GENERIC APPLICATION FORM FOR CANADA [IMM 008].
Hope that cic overlooks the submission of old generic form.

Yes I think you have to submit except KSA

Thanks ppl for replying back to me so quickly....I am stressed for the fact that, my Mother in laws name is written different in my husband's proof of birth certificate i.e. his 10th pass certificate...and then in the passport its different....so passport info is different from bith certificate..thts my worries
Shud I have submitted an affidavit......
Could this lead to NER???
All these mind BOGGLING questions pooping in myhead...i can hardly sleep :o

Same situation here again. They refer PASSPORT for names . Your husband's 10th certificate in your husband's document NOT a proof of your Mother-In-Law's name. Realize this.

My wife's mother have different names in her school certificates and her passport. (Exactly same situation as yours). But I took passport as reference and used names as in passport.

Thanks Adrenalineforu
I did use her passport name for Additional family info form.....
ok thats a relief somebody sailing in the same boat...what is ur NOC and u applying form New Delhi too??

I am very confused .. I have mentioned my mother's maiden name as her name which was prior to her marriage in Schedule A - Background declaration form , as it asked for the maiden Name ....
In my additional family declaration form I have mentioned her current name ...
She does not have a passport and is not comming with me to canada ..

What i did is correct or not... and if its incorrect Can this be a reason for my form getting rejected ...?? or probably CIC will accept my form and ask for clarification / supporting documents?
On similar lines I have filled form for my spouse with mother's maiden name and current name different .........

What do u think will happen ... Accept / reject ??

How will I come to know the acceptance of my application once it reaches CIC. , will that be through a mail or a letter ?
is there any timeline by which I would get to know weather my application is accepted ??

:) another reason to be happy. there's a "second choice" for you guys after all.
