Why are using Regular mail instead of courier? If I am not wrong, you were applying under 2174. right?

World net is not a regular post service. It is special service from India Post. They have tie up with DHL. The delivery time from India to Canada is 4th Day delivery.

I sent my transcripts via this service only and they were delivered on 3rd day. This is cheaper version of DHL, but with same quality. ;D

Why don't you ask your muncipal to correct this error? They might do it with some money and it'l be only one document instead of matric, passport and stuff? Shouldn't have to be an issue.

Yes, I can get it but it is time which is the problem. They will take more than one week or may be more than 10 days. In that case I guess no use of applying. Indeed I am worried about cap at present also.

Thanks for the Draft, but in my case I have the birth certificate and it was registered also. So I cannot say that it is not registered.

By "sign", I meant I did not use 05-2013 version. I used only the 04-2013 version.

I was able to put my signature.

If you submitted on the 16th May, then i cant get why yours was dated 04-2013. I submitted 10th May and mine was dated 05-2013.

Hi Amar

If your birthcertificte is issued by city muncipal or grampanchayat or taluka panchayat then approach them to have a look in the register and they will re-issue the birthcertificate. This is One Day Process!

BUT..If there is discripancies in the DoB in register, birthcertificate and your marksheet then you are in big problem.

If your marksheet and register contains different date then you need to hire one lawyer and put the request in court(taluka,jilaa court) and then you need to appeal and prove your DoB is as per the marksheet and the register is having error. If judge agree on this you will get birth certificate copy once he release order to muncipal for re-issue the birth certificate .REMEMBER THIS IS BIG BIG DIFFICULT TASK

I think..
Never rely on India post, I have used the service which you are taling for many time earlier, they are poor. as you said they have tie up with DHL then why dont you take service from DHL.
Another point is private company are always there 24x7 to hear from you,India post is not having such a nice customer care service and they wont care for customer's problems.

It is not regular mail, there is a tie-up between India Post and DHL, India Post books Parcel and it reaches Third Day (like courier). Yes 2174.

You cant send them content saying you dont have Birth certificate and having passport and birthdate on marksheet,They wont convey the same.

ONE OF reason they are asking Passport copy and along with birth certificate is to make sure the consitency of personal data and genuinity of applicant.

They know if Birth certificate is lost the it can manage in few days so you really cant make any excuses. Mostly like people do have scan copy or photo copy of it so they send with application and later apply of other copy.

Another Point here is, How did you get passport without proof of BCertificate? ext

I think finally you can try with the delcaration and see if it work, To me its better to add declaration as well as the letter from the municipal coorporation saying that the there is error in register and soon you will issue the another BCertificate.

It's no the matter of how many days would they take. Its what CIC requires from you. If you send incomplete documents, it is going to be returned back to you as incomplete. Get that corrected in Municipal register, and have it reissued, this will be better instead of all the other documents.

Just tell them that who ever registered in the register at that time made a mistake as it got registered as 3 instead of 13th. Provide Matric result and passport copy & if possible your National ID to prove that it's indeed 13th.
