Sorry sinestra, I'm asking if i can apply for NOC 2147-Computer engineering even if my job title as Laboratory Technician in not in the suggested list of CIC because is written all job title is Engineer, but my job description is the same what is written in NOC-2147.

i read in one of the posts here that CIC is more concern on the job details rather than the title. well, let's hear from the other members here but as for me, i think you should apply if its exactly what you're doing right now :)

Thanks Jigzyy and Marta, much appreciated. Letter is dated 30 May 2013 - looks like this is when they started opening the packages. But does it really take one week to post the letter to someone in the CPP-O territory (i.e. north america)?

Thanks man..... So it means at 30th may CIC is checking files received on 6th may... So at present they at-least reach at 13th or 14th may.... But point is that none of our forum member reported for CC Charged by cic.... It might possible cic is only checking document level checking which mention in second page of letter Marta received....

Now we have all the possible reasons of rejection. This should help us access our applications ourselves and see where all we have gone wrong. (or is too late already?)

Hi ,
I got the news from cic, I'm out. I need to submit new form schedule 3. Everything else seems to be fine just this. So good luck to all of you.
Marta

Marta. Im so sorry for what happened to you. I think we have the same dilemma. in my generic form my consultancy used generic form 12-2012. they used 5-2013 in schedule 3.

if that happened to you. well Im dead. I think the generic form is the foundation for the visa and schedule 3 is just infos of previous employers, JD's and dates of employment . :( oh well Im ready to face the music.....

see my discussion:

Hoping for the best for you Marta. Still hoping for a positive response.

Totally agree, it is so scary if you go through the list of missing things in page 3. I believe this will affect many applications

Hi all, just read Marta's material and begins to worry now, In generic form, for the Question of UCI and CSQ, I did not choose yes or no because both are not applicable, but I also did not input NA as the whole form need to validate and becomes grey. So...will this becomes incomplete and be returned? Have seen discussion somewhere but forget the result.
