I'm not sure whether your file will be returned or not for this problem - there is always the possibility that they presume blank to be none and your file won't be returned, which still presents the problem of how to correct it of course.
If you're certain you got it wrong then probably you're going to need to put a fax together pretty quickly (and presumably follow it up with a written version), but I would call them first if I were you - they might be able to tell you how far your file has got and might be able to advise you what to do to update it - for example if you have been allocated a UCI reference number or something.
If they have no record of your file, there is the possibility it is already on its way back
