Is there anything I can do about it now?

I just looked up your entry in the spreadsheet. It may be that your file is being processed this week judging by recent progress.

I'm not sure whether your file will be returned or not for this problem - there is always the possibility that they presume blank to be none and your file won't be returned, which still presents the problem of how to correct it of course.

If you're certain you got it wrong then probably you're going to need to put a fax together pretty quickly (and presumably follow it up with a written version), but I would call them first if I were you - they might be able to tell you how far your file has got and might be able to advise you what to do to update it - for example if you have been allocated a UCI reference number or something.
If they have no record of your file, there is the possibility it is already on its way back :o

Sorry, not trying to alarm you - are you sure you made this mistake, you're not just worrying about something that you have in fact done are you? :)

I wrote "See Attached Sheet" and then I did not attach the sheet. A screw-up of epic proportions.

This is great news for potential canadians(fpr all FSW applicant... ;) ;) ;) ;))

Relevant experience as relevant experience, regardless of the geography

For decades, we have heard stories about immigrants with PhDs driving taxis, MDs doing clerical work, and chefs working as dishwashers. One of the most oft-cited justifications for this widespread and increasing difficulty immigrants have in finding employment in their intended occupations is employers' reluctance to hire newcomers without “Canadian experience.”

By default, immigrants who are new to Canada do not have Canadian experience. It is then unfair to demand Canadian experience before they are able to secure employment while also refusing them employment .......

Hurrah! :D

Sorry to hear. Give them a call, maybe it isn't too late to send them the sheet you referred to.

You have to wait until your file is transferred to VO before making any updates. CIO will not treat such cases. You can read this up at the CIC website too. I hope this helps.

TO all, Please can any one inform what is the contact number for CIO.
and what extentions are to be followed.
would it be a good idea to have this info in the spead sheet?

To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback

I'm on a similar situation (a baby is coming in September)
Since my file was recently transferred to my local VO, I asked them about it, see their answer below.
Since these instructions may vary upon the VO, I'd recommend you to wait.
...
In order to add your newborn child to your application, you will need to provide us with the following:
- Updated IMM008
(see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf)
- Updated IMM5406
(see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5406E.pdf)
- Copy of your child's birth certificate
- Copy of your child's passport first page
- Two ID pictures of your baby
- Processing fees of $150.00

Please be advised that the minimum of funds required will differ due to your new family size, and a reassessment will have to be made in your case. In addition, medical examinations will be required for your newborn. You will receive the forms once your file has been updated and the reassessment made.

Hi everybody, I'm from Iran and I've been in Canada for 7 months (live in Ottawa) and I'm applying for FSW. In IMM0008 form we are requested to mention "Immigration Office requested for processing this application". I'm confused... What should i write in this field?
and where should I end my application?
