Whats happening at CPPO with post 23-May applications...any guess guys?
Things are moving pretty fast for pre 23-May applicants....gets me worried ???

CIC is slowing down drastically. Most of the May applicants got the response within 1.5 months and now it is taking 3 months... like every government CIC is taking their sweet time.

I got my response in 2.5 months.

I am also very confident that Aug 7 applicants are going to make it.

I am guessing majority of aug-7th guys from spreadsheet will make it....when I looked at cap update every week for 2132 in past..it was like 25 to 30 increase in cap count every week...so looking at that I am very confident aug-7th applicants shd mostly make it 8) 8) 8) 8)

Dear Seniors of the forum,i am one of the London visa office applicants and my information is on the spread sheet.However,my visa is about to run out at the end of the month here in the UK.I wanted to find out if there will be an effect on my application if i hang around for my medicals and possibly the visa due to some difficulties am facing at the moment.If it is possible,will my background checks reveal it?I kindly await ur responses.

Don't break any laws. Eventually you will be asked to provide a police certificate from London as well. So don't mess around with any legalities.

Question :-

How does someone apply for GCMS notes?
How does it work, does it include continuous report till time of Visa (or) or only reports till the time of GCMS application?
Is this service provided by CIC directly or some 3rd party website?

Pls add everything that an applicant has to know about GCMS.. Thanks in advance

After getting PER you can order it.
The benefit is to know how CIO have assessed your file, and how many points they have given you, before sending your file to the VO.

I was reading on other posts reg proof of funds that u need to have proof of funds at the time of applying and at the time of entry....what does this mean???

People who have their files pending for years...do they have that kinda funds idle in banks all through processing...

For NOC 2263 applicants (Inspectors in public and environmental health and occupational health and safety).....

Given below is the CIC updated status of our NOC in the last 5 times (2 months data).....The flow is around 7 in a week now.

Proof of funds has to be provided when applying, and it might also be requested at a later stage before a decision is made, and possibly again at landing.

However, there is no requirement to keep the funds idle in your account during the process, normal fluctuations and changes in an account are not unusual and therefore nothing to worry about. Changes in large amounts (e.g. transfer from normal checking account into savings account or vice versa) might have to be explained, though - especially if these accounts are not in your or your spouses name (possibility of borrowed money).

I feel that eventhough NOC 2263 is not as hot as it should be, it will be the next one to be capped, but not until February 2014.
Also the fact that it has lot of titles with completely different duties is not helping much. Broadly it means anyone with Public health experience can apply. If somebody has missed out in other NOC, IT is worth to look at the 2263.
