Hello everyone. I have two questions.
1. Is there any possibility of rejection of a super-visa after the passport request?
2. How long does it usually take to stamp the visa after passport submission?
Thanks all in advance.
It's no big issue as per my understanding. I did my "soft landing" for two weeks in last December. The immigration officer didn't ask me about how long I was going to stay or didn't want to see my air tickets (I had round-trip tickets too). You are a free person and therefore there is no...
3 weeks at least.
You actually do not need to upload passport or photos; it is usually mentioned in the PPR not to. But no problem if you upload. I don't know why it is there, may be for some other countries. Congratulations and all the best.
I did a soft landing a month back. They didn't ask for birth certificate. If you are landing in Toronto, I would suggest you do your SIN card at the airport. They have a Service Canada booth there. You will find it after you finish your immigration formalities. You will have to wait in a queue...
Now that's a difficult question... the usual predictions are failing. In my case it was about 3 and half months... IP1 -> NA -> IP2.. but from IP2 to PPR was on the same date. Some people experienced long wait after IP2. So just relax and try not to think about it too much.
So you are saying that I do not need to carry the entire amount shown in my EE application as cash? I can take some of it (a reasonable amount) as cash and show the rest of it in my bank letter?
I think it's good news. "Additional docs - not needed" means they have finished reviewing unless they sent you a rejection letter. So no worries. Your files are moving. PPR anytime from now.
