I am new to this forum.

I have applied under FSW 0211 category. The application was sent on 4th June and received by Mike on 10th June, 2013.

Still CC not charged. Tried to call CIO office, no response. Sent e-mail 20 days back, waiting for their reply to get my UCI.

British society like melkouk has just said is going down the gutter. Chavs on every corner plus I've been to vancouver / toronto several times! I love how everyone if friendly and there is no attitude! Quality of life is x10 better and I guess the lady's love the British accent which is a plus point
I can buy a condo in Toronto downtown for the same price as a rubbish apartment in the UK! The exchange rate is beneficial lol

Totally true! I wont say much because once I start, I will go into rant mode.. lets just hope that we get what we're wishing for in life, and if we dont, we can at least try and not give up.

You should immediately give a call at CIC Call centre, as going by the spreadsheet it is very clear that they are currently working on application after 20th June 2013 and many people on this forum have already got PER, for June 10 or around.

Hello great Forumites....i see its been raining AOR all week particularly for NDVO applicants...has anyone heard from LVO after receiving PER? i'm aware they don't send AOR unlike other VO's or should i believe they've been incapacitated as a result of the strike action?

Based on the past experience and present pace at which CIO/NDVO is processing FSW 2013 applications, can someone guesstimate when NDVO shall start sending Medical Requests?

Reason I am asking this question is that 1st/2nd week applicants have started receiving AORs from NDVO, I am just curious to know the timeline here-onward. 8)

I have sent an application for 2174 but before reaching the application to NovaScotia office the category reached to the cap limit. so what will happen to my application? I know it'll be return but how much time will it take to return back and whether they will notify me or not?

My application for NOC 2132 has been received by 7th June 2013 and mode of payment is DD. I got my UCI number and still it is showing "we can not identify you". Can you advise something for my situation ? By what time should I expect application status will show "in process" by UCI number search if it has Positive eligibility review.

very sorry that I am coming back on this so late. Did you recieve your UCI/ PER yet? It is average 70 days for the DD encashment from the day your app reached CIC. In about 7-8 days after DD echasment you can expect PER.

In my case I called CIC around that time. Was lucky to get UCI over the phone. Then I patiently followed-up with Thomas Cook for DD encashment status. Finally in a weeks time after receiving UCI, my DD was encashed. 7 days later I got my PER.

You can try contacting CIC for UCI. If it doesn't work the first time, don't giveup. Basically you may have to tell them that its been 10-11 weeks from the date of submission and that you woud like to request for UCI so you can check the status online yourself. Further, once you get UCI keep checking the automated response service of UCI. Once its updated you may hear that yur application has reached on 7-June. At that time you may very well relax and await for PER soon.

With all this I hope you already have PER. If not you will have it soon.

Hey AP_LOVELIFE, MELKOUK, i am just curious, why would a UK citizen apply for Canada PR?
Your Economies/Cultures/weather are pretty much same and ur currency values more than that of CAD $. i must say am quite surprised.

I'm a born and raised UK citizen too but the cost of living in London is just one of the reasons I want to move.

People have reported having their applications returned due to cap full. I think your location to canada and the efficiency of the postal service determines when u receive it.
