Just the same old bullsh*t... contact via email / they did say if you have been to Canada as a visitor and have a visa in your passport you can get the UCI no from there... However, I am a UK Citizen and we dont need a visitor visa to go to Canada...

I found Lady officers are helpful, offcourse u can't control who picks the phone up ... calling in the early morning helped.. and I also started by saying its Over 3 months and I have NO CLUE WHATSOEVER of my application... and atleast give me my UCI so that I can at a minimum check online what's the status...! ........and she gave me the UCI after asking few other things...!

BTW - I have tried the calling them following the same info you posted and they didnt help whatsoever!

call again, it depends on the agent who's answering your call. i did try thrice, and 4th time the agent was willing to check in the database. as i was a little earlier so no info in their database.

Average processing time 10 months..Blah Blah..same template

App sent 15 May,Per received: 24 July,AOR:6 Sept

What I read is after May4th 2013, the -normal- job offer is no longer accepted, you have to have LMO. so my question is:can a new small company apply for a LMO? or there is a criteria for an employer to apply for LMO like being operating for a some years, minimum number of employees, etc..?

British society like melkouk has just said is going down the gutter. Chavs on every corner plus I've been to vancouver / toronto several times! I love how everyone if friendly and there is no attitude! Quality of life is x10 better and I guess the lady's love the British accent which is a plus point
I can buy a condo in Toronto downtown for the same price as a rubbish apartment in the UK! The exchange rate is beneficial lol

Still CC not charged. Tried to call CIO office, no response. Sent e-mail 20 days back, waiting for their reply to get my UCI.
