srip17: sudobh referred to a link on Canada visa.com. It just asks for your name, DOB, occupation etc. I dont know if its an official EOI, maybe just a means to get you registered on the database so that employers can search for you. I dont see anything for the EOI application page on the CIC...

True, as I said earlier, Immigration is like a gamble or lottory, you never know what you'll get or when for that matter.. But thanks again to you and rezas for the info about EOI, I never really knew how it worked exactly, until now. Its something I am def going to try now.

I don't think you need to, it says on the check list: Language test must not be older than 2 years upon date of receipt at CIO.. Since you have PER and submitted it to CIO before the 2 years, then you should be fine. But as the others said, only re-take if VO requests it.

Sorry to hear the bad news. When did you receive this email? I strongly believe applications are bring sent back with ship/land than air mail as its cheaper option for cic. If so this takes about 4 weeks so you should have your pack by early October, next week maybe

Thanks fsw2174 for the info. I personally prefer to go as fsw visa than student visa, so I can work full time. You're right, 2014 will come soon before you know it, so lets see what happens..Immigration is almost like a gamble, you never know what will happen.

Ap_lovelife: I want to leave the UK too, so I am also thinking of going the student route. But fsw2174 pointed out that we still may have a chance next year with this EOI process. I am going to wait until next year before I make haste decisions or at least until I get my application back!! :o
