I called CIC today My Application reached on 21st June, but Lady on the call today me that no status
about my application ...

I am thinking whether I can go ahead and cancel my DD as it might expire soon(becz of 3 months validity),what's ur view?? :-\

You don't have to cancel it my friend. Just talk to the concerned bank authorities & tell them that the DD has been sent abroad to CIC & they may take some more time to encash it. Once this thing is in the ears of the issuing bank, you won't need to cancel or revalidate it. I was in the same situation as yours a few days back. So, just chill.

why CIC is taking that long time to give PER/NER?

One reason, i can think is: i am main applicant and i have also submitted my wife's job information.
she belong to Medical laboratory technicians and pathologists' assistants (3212).

Bhai logo, i tried in English, now in Hindi, please mein call center executives ko kya bolu kay wo log mujhey UCI/status bata dey....wo log bataney ko ready hee nahi hai....2 baar milaya, first male aur 2nd baar mahila nay fone uthaya lekin unhoney mera mail id liya aur kaha contact on mail.

Hi forum people, I am new to this forum and only signed up today. As you can see from the above CIC received my application on 3rd June 2013 and as of yet I have had no reply. I have sent CIC an email to provide an update on the application, however they have still not got back to me. I guess I will have to wait for a reply within the 20 days they have stated.

Has anyone else sent their application for NOC 2174 around the same time and had any replies?

Any assistance would be wonderful...
