hi,

i did not hire the services of consultants. just that of google, cic website and forumers here.

my kilala ako who did hire. sadly, due to the existing bureaucracy in her chosen agency, naabutan ng new guidelines ang application nya. (her initial appls stayed for more than 1 month sa kamay ng consultant nya) payment for services was already done. cguro, nagtitipid ng pambayad sa courier yng agency at gusto pagsabayin lahat ng apps :( . so ayun, napraning yng kilala ko. kasi wla na sa listahan ng eligibile professions ang sa kanya. tapos non-refundable pa daw yng agency fee :o. pero pwede nya pa rin ma-offset pag mag apply sya uli. question is, kelan naman kaya maibalik profession nya sa listahan ng cic? hayyyyyyyy buhayyyy.

i suggest, dapat nagkkaintindihan kau dapat ng agent mo, if ever. level off ur expectations. dapat sigurista kasi magbabayad ka.

in my case kasi, medyo comprehensive ang ginawa kong cert of employment with compensation. Yung nakapost sa website ng canada na main duties i think are too general at clinical orientation as compared to my actual duties as im into industrial psychology. So may kunting description ng job at industry where i am into. Case to case basis kasi. Sa case, i would need to justify that im performing similar duties but in a totally different setting. Since psychology may be applied in a clinical setting or in an industrial setting. I find the main duties in the website too general at may touch ng clinical psychology when it comes to treatment of disorders and provision of therapy. In my case, nasa industrial setting ako, i do not treat psychological disorders of employees in the office, rather i help the employees manage their work-related conflicts or personality aberrations/disorders to enhance emptional, interpersonal and psychological functiniong. Hehehe..medyo napapakwento na ako.

di po ba sa cert of employment e ang sinasabi lang ay" this is to certify that Mr/Ms. blah blah is working at blah blah company as blah blah...bakit sa inyo may job description na kasama?? diba separate docs ang job description sa coe??

hehe ayos nga e detalyado..very informative & helpful.thank you

in my case, for mailing na application namin today.

i din't hire any consultant or agency ( google search at forum search lang) normally consultant ay re-reviewhin lng docs mo base sa CIC guidelines at they will teach and help you how to comply wherein fact pag binasa mo yun CIC guidelines at digest mo ito ay kayang kaya mo naman ( my apology sa mga nag consultant) so.. it is your choice... sa CIC guidelines hindi makaka speed up ang application mo bec VO will treat us in fairly manner accordingly sa guidelines nila..

my dilemma now.. to hire or not to hire a consultancy agency.. i need your help

@ crissy225:
i for one did not hire a consultancy agency. all i did was read through the requirements and the guide. i have friends who did hire but were upset of the assistance the agency was able to give. this may be on a case to case basis but if it will give you peace of mind to hire one, then go..... :)

will it be a ground for refusal for fsw application if you disclose na nadeny ka na dati on your application for a visitor's visa sa canada? this is in relation to question #9 sa schedule 1 form.

It will be a ground for rejection if you keep that piece of information. Kailangan ilagay mo lahat pati reason sa pag-deny.

we hired them, mukhang ok nmn.. no problems yet.. sana lng walang maging prob..

Yes, I agree with Zssashimi and Sau2calgary, you have to declare that u had been denied before, i think they have means to know that, like sau2calgary, i was also denied when i applied for temp.resident visa last february before i applied for fsw, but looking how our applications are moving now, i don't think it has created a problem.

Hi All,

Seeking for advise / experience on similar case as I am.

My wife recently delivered our second baby (Sept 10, 2010) in the middle of us waiting for updates on our application.
We recently received our request for Medical (Sept 28, 2010) and we are given only 60 days to complete the said medical exams.
For the new baby, we have yet to get the NSO issued birth certificate and consequently her passport.

How will the additional family affect our application timelines? My assumption is that our timeline will be as good as the last processed member (in this case my 2nd daughter).

Thanks for all the help.

Richman

cic ang consultancy ko.my friend and i hired cic november of last year pero we have different agents.cya npunta sa delinquent agent and ako npunta sa reliable agent.nging smooth ang processing ng sa akin while yung sa friend ko ngkaproblem kc hndi nremit yung ibang payments nya which caused delay on the processing of her papers. waiting for ppr na ko ngaun, while yung friend ko just received her 1st aor. be very careful in choosing your agent kc hndi nmn barya ang ibabayad sa knila.
i suggest that you do consider working on your papers by yourself bsta read the guidelines and seek for the help of the seniors in the forum!
may mga ibang queries din kc na hndi msagot ng seniors kc under new rules na kau
goodluck! ;)
