i think your IC is wrong,sa title pa lang, the data shows TARGET meaning BUDGET,PLANS etc.... that is not the actual applications at hand. actually there is really racial discrimination na di ba, you can see sa budget din ng quebec regarding sa intake ng qsw application, kung walang racial discrimination eh wala sana silang target kung ilan ang kukunin nila sa asia, africa etc.. as you can see maliit ang kukunin nila sa asia. at sa processing din mas mabilis sa ibang regions laging huli ang asia.

Guys, just another clarification. With regards sa IELTS, if I take the Acad Module, will it still be accepted by Quebec without any compromise to my points or is it imperative that I take the General Module? Thanks!

in order to get an immigrant status in canada under the qsw program, one needs to (1) apply for the qsw program from quebec (micc), then if csq is granted, one can already (2) apply for the immigrant visa from canada's federal government. quebec has a cap of 20,000 (6,600 to around 7,000 for asia) whereas canada's federal government had a "target" of 190 visa's in 2012 (?). but as pointed out by our other forum member, they plan their targets based on the current situation, and the situation is, there haven't been a lot of applicants to the qsw program in the previous years because of the language and also because hindi pa masyadong kilala yung program na ito sa pilipinas. so hopefully, we will see the target of 190 visas increase in the coming years as more qsw applicants are approved.

Guys, is it possible to apply if the applicant has resigned from a nursing job then transferred to a non nursing job? But the total stay on the nursing related job is 4 years. Will the assessor count that? Thanks.

Don't be confused 20,000 is for everyone not only Filipinos.
190 is the target for Philippine Visa

I was asked to take the General Module... It is the French exam that one has to pass... the IELTS is to prove your knowledge in english... :-\

So you have tried passing the academic module and they returned it and asked for the general instead? Or was it your first ielts and you were advised to take the general? Just clarifying. Thanks!
