So you have tried passing the academic module and they returned it and asked for the general instead? Or was it your first ielts and you were advised to take the general? Just clarifying. Thanks!

I was adviced right away that all I needed to take was the General Module... I did it and now I'm in the Federal stage so I guess I did it right... :D

guys, totoo bang accepted n din dw ang volunteer works as experience? my nbsa lang ako sa fb ng isang consultancy d2 s manila.. :o

I don't believe so, pede lang sya as proof of internship pero not as work experience. Because proof of work experience is certificate of employment, payslip, TAX RETURN and SSS proof of payment by your company.

So I guess di pasok dun ung volunteer.

hi mommy_pinay,

just a question on the tax return. i was only able to submit the tax returns (in lieu of sss) from my last employer (for 2 years). i wasn't able to get the tax return on my previous employers (2007-2008) but i was able to keep my payslips which show sss deductions. do you think they will still consider my experience with just the payslips and coe on those that i didn't have the tax return?

I think they just need it from the most recent. Actually di na din ako nagsubmit for my past employments but if you go to the website of SSS meron silang link dun na pede mong piliin for WORK HISTORY and then nakalagay dun lahat ng companies na pinanggalingan mo. Printable naman sya and yung list of actual premiums paid meron din sa website ng SSS mag register ka lang muna.

I am now waiting for my IELTS exam this september 21 and currently collecting documents needed for the application. Where will I pass my application? Sa HK ba or Montreal? :)

Guys. Help. Is there any official news released by the Quebec Govt regarding the number of applicants they already received since Aug 1? Is there any truth that 13,000 slots have already been filled up since Aug 1? How true is this? One agency told me about this and I dont know if I should believe it or not. Maybe its just their way of making me speed up my application. Thanks a lot!

Would you mind asking your agency where they got this info? I think I've read about a similar post here (13,000) somewhere but it was done by other forum members, and it was just a hunch on the number of files probably received and AOR's sent calculated based on the difference in file numbers (one file dated july/aug 2012 and another file dated aug 2013 or so. I have never read anything in the website regarding their current count of files received. Thanks!

- Work experience must have been accumulated during the five years preceding the application date.
- Work experience includes remunerated employment and internships, whether remunerated or not.

It will probably be considered as internship which will count as work experience.

I think it's around P6,000-7,000 for twice a week. May Saturday classes din. August pa sila ng-start, pwede ka pa yatang mag enroll pero dehado ka na talaga. Sa October yata ang susunod na klase. May ibang language schools din around na September ang start, pero hindi reimboursable.
