I have one query.

I gave IELTS in April'10 & submitted PCC in June'10. Does I need to retake IELTS, when my file turns to in process as 1 year has already elapsed? Does I need to obtain another PCC for me and my spouse as 1 year has elapsed?
ND will not ask about ielts...might be PCC..they can ask..

No update in this week :(

Still "In Process" with "RBVO".....

Ecas status has not changed since day one. It still shows RBVO.How many got medical requests or visa?(June2010)

Dear Sir/Madam,

(System generated mail - that is why it is mentioned Sir/Madam instead of our names)

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

circular message modified by New Delhi Office

Please be advised that if the applicant has (they should have mentioned "you have" instead of "applicant has") applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , the application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications (Canada received - not New Delhi ) under this program during this period, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision (Canda has not taken decision whether those applications are eligible for processing). This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

The applicants who have to wait for two years or more are those applicants whose applications are still in Canada pending for approval and not yet send to the processing country.

Those applications which were send to the India will be processed in 14 months period.

If you (applicants whose application are still in Canada) wish to withdraw your application, you may be eligible for a refund of your processing fees.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.

That is the circular message which was advised by Canada to circulate to the processing countries clients to avoid further applications being sent. New Delhi office wrongly send the same to applicants who asked for processing period request.

We are still within the quota and will be processed in 14 months period (average). Some may take 15-18 months.

I didn't get that mail. Some people got that reply, and when they copied the same on blogs, it made a big panic.

I got advice from a friend from Canada, that Indians can ignore that message. Message was actually intended for consultants of different countries, and not for applicants. And two year waiting period is not for applicants whose file were already transferred to concerned countries for verification.

All case specific inquiries may not get a reply back. Change in e-CAS to "in process" in responds to inquiry will not help to fasten up the processing. When they open your system file to check the records after your inquiry letter, the status will automatically updated as "in process", with is not real "in process".

End March & April file transferred applicants will be finished first.

I guess they will start processing again from 1st July 2011.

Lets wait and see how things move.

Atleast some good news.. after a long time..
Lets keep our hopes alive.. We all would get through..
Wishing everyone All the very best ....

Hi,

Have you sent a CSQ?

Dear KDSTTL

Point wise reply to your mail

(System generated mail - that is why it is mentioned Sir/Madam instead of our names)
Agreed that it is system generated

How can you say that??? And CHC New Delhi is a part of CIC Canada.
Please be advised that if the applicant has (they should have mentioned "you have" instead of "applicant has") applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , the application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications (Canada received - not New Delhi ) And those applications were then transferred to New Delhi or other visa offices across the world.under this program during this period, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision (Canda has not taken decision whether those applications are eligible for processing). CIC earlier never used to check whether the applications were eligible or not. They just checked whether the forms were completey filled or not and encashed the DDThis number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

The applicants who have to wait for two years or more are those applicants whose applications are still in Canada pending for approval and not yet send to the processing country.
Those applications which were send to the India will be processed in 14 months period.
For both the above points: CIC transfers application as soon as you receive your 1st AOR which is generally takes 1 to 3 months max. So for Pre june 2010 there is no chance that they may be having applicatins with them as most of the people received file transfer dates. Secondly 14 months is the current processing time for 80% of application and this time will increase till it reaches 2 or more years.

How can you be so sure? Secondly if 1 or 2 applicants got this msg that its understandable, but lot of applicants across diff visa office received the same reply.

One can be an ostrich and bury their head in sand when facing problems. The reality is that most of April/ will take more than 18 months processing time and May/June will take even more than that. April file transfer can expect visa around the end of year.
