New quota and NOC code list will be out very soon, I just fail to understand why such a big country like Canada don't do simple calculations before issuing list. For example if Canada need 5000 financial managers ( Just an example) in the year 2011 -2012, they should consider first pending applicants in this category and process them first and issue a quota for balance. For example if they have 3500 ( Just an example) pending applicants in this category then they should only issue a quota of 1500 ( Just an example) and process old applicants first instead of issuing a new quota of 5000 in this category and processing new applicants and holding old applicants for indefinite period. This applies for all occupation list.

Below is the mail i send. It will be useful for those NOCs which were common for Post and Pre June and AEO cases.

Dear Sir

I have applied for Canadian Immigration under Federal skilled worker category(NOC XXXX) File No: BXXXXXXXXX at Central Intake Office Nova Scotia(they received on DD MM YY), sending my complete set of documents for further processing at the New Delhi Visa office, and have received acknowledgment of receipt of my documents on DD MM YY. My file transfer date was DD MM YY.

My occupation was listed in both Post and Pre June 2010 in demand occupations.
My friends(Applicants) who applied after June 20 2010 in the same occupations, have received medical request and subsequent Permanent residency. I wonder why my application has been kept on low priority just because I applied before June 26, 2010 even though my occupation is in demand. I can understand that you put Pre June 2010 applicants on low priority because you have received more applications than you can process, but it is totally unfair to all those applicants whose NOC were both in Pre and Post June 2010.

Hence I request you to look into the matter and speed up the processing of those applicants whose occupations were included in both Pre and Post June 2010.

For the last 10 months I haven't got any update from the visa office and they are not answering to my queries. One of my friend received an email that processing time can increase up to 2 years. If that is the case than I request you to give us clear instructions as, our funds are held up for the ‘proof of funds’. This is creating huge problems for me as I cannot plan for future investments.

The only scenario that will be left for many applicants including myself(whose occupations are common) will be to re-apply.

Hence I request you to ask the necessary authorities to expedite the process or else give me and other applicants a proper timeline so that we can plan for our future including re-applying and/or financial and personal plans .

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Choose the cancel option, complete Section A,C & D. You & your spouse (if any) need to sign it & send it your Visa Office. Also mention on the cover letter your new address for them to correspond to you directly.

nano..As i know...we dont need to hold our account for them. when medical comes, they will ask again about the fund. if they will make inquiry about the fund to your bank, they cant give me -ve decisions. but they will ask to show your fund. In my case,...i got the bank balance certificate..then i released the amount coz its a waste of money holding in a bank. I can prove myself, that I have enough fund. fund will not be the case of rejection, if you havent enough fund, they will ask..show your fund...that time you can deposit,..and send them statement.

dear mohanrkkdi...one of our forum member,,,he applied thorugh agents wwics. wwics gave him hard time without dealing his case. he was so upset with that agent. later on, he requested to change his mailing address and cancel of that agent with some explanation. now the guy is in canada...i think wwics is waiting for pending amount. I think, if you wrote a letter a to cic ND about their problem so that you want to change your mailing address...cic will contact with you,,not with agent. make sure with qorax, doglover..they have broad knowledge about this.
