Hello guys..

I just want to clarify some issues:

1) what this remark mean on the CSQ : "remarque" section - "Code 130. Dossier vise par traitement prioritaire - domaine de formation"? Is this remark gonna speed up the Federal application?

2) Is this the correct address for sending the federal application from montreal? ( i live in Montreal)

Canadian Consulate General
Immigration Regional Program Centre
1 HSBC Center, Suite 3000
Buffalo, NY 14203-2884
U.S.A.

Thank you for your support

Nkusi,

i sent an email to buffalo asking them if they received my meds. i think we have the same timeline bro, hope this procedure will finish soon.

Yeah , it looks like our timelines are close. Let's wait and see what is coming up. But foremost, I wish you all the best , man !

@Hanisuliman

About the code 130 , I am not sure. But concerning the address, you are right , this is one of the two addresses for submitting your application.
Check it all out here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf

and if you are about to submit your application, I wish you good luck !

Have a nice evening , ya all fellas !

I have this code too and it seems it doesn't speed up anything at all, at least not in our beloved Buffalo office.

I thought everyone has code130 in their CSQ.

I also have that code, but it took me 8 months to get AOR.

Maybe under new computer system, Buffalo will speed up the process, at least I hope.. :D

I have read, on one immigration forum , that sometimes immigration files can be transferred from Buffalo to Detroit, NYC or LA. This seemed to accelerate the process, and get the PR in short time.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/file-transfer-from-buffalo-to-a-satellite-office-nyc-seattle-la-detroit-t48654.240.html

Does this apply in our case ? or it is for people applying from US alone ?
If anyone knows , what are the conditions of this file transfer ?

Good night.

in my sense it is a possibility to have file transfer Nkusi. Last year, in this thread and on trackitt there was a guy whose file was transfered to Seattle. He was a US xcitizen living in Mtl, I think.

About Code 130 everyone so far seems to have it myself included. However, those you're on preferred list tend to get aside from that "expedite process with Federal". Don't get it wrong I think they will have PR faster. In my own views, when Buffalo begins processing their files (i.e. upon doing AOR letter) their files will fly. Till then everyone who applied within the same time as them be the same.

That's my opinion but I could be wrong too.

My AOR explicitly says, "Your application may be transferred to one of our partner offices in New York, Detroit, Seattle, or Los Angeles for further processing. If your file is transferred, you will be notified. At that time, all future correspondence should be sent to that
office."

If I remember correctly, one of old members on this thread has his file transferred to Detroit office. After transfer, he got PPR pretty fast.

I wish I have that luck.

Hi,

I saw that you postponed your interview date. I wanted to see how you did it. I got a date for Aug. but I can't make it. Is it easy to postpone the date? What do they need for that? Would it affect your application??

Thanks in advance and good luck with the rest of your application.

@ everyone
I wonder if nobody, with AOR, has his timeline to share for the benefit of all. Unless there's a timeline to add/modify, I wish everyone a good w-e.

@ Keikha
Can you clarify who you are referring to and whether you're talking about CSQ or Federal process, plz?

Guys,

look at this.
Yahoo is repeating the article from Radio Canada.
http://fr-ca.actualites.yahoo.com/immigration-plus-long-dimmigrer-au-qu%C3%A9bec-quailleurs-au-115208869.html
Hope this can awaken Buffalo.

and I have a question :
Does everyone get the notice (mail or email) of the "Initial Assessment" (like everybody gets the AOR & meds) , or it is skipped for some people ?

nice weekend , ya all.
Nkusi.
