Many folks from the summer (July & August) applicants are still waiting, so the answer to your question is "quite a long time". Processing times after one submits an application are currently @ 9 months.

We have a lawyer representing us on my wife's sponsorship application. Yesterday I noticed on the tracker that my wife's telephone number was incorrect. The last digit specifically. This was a mistake made by me while completing the forms. Is it important to get the number changed or it does not matter as IRCC only communicates via email of the sponsor, the applicant or the rep?

We have launched spousal sponsorship application Feb 19 2024 and received the following:
AOR: March 7 2024
Biometrics instruction letter: March 20, 2024.
My question is that we have submitted the biometrics that’s done for the visit visa while applying for sponsorship. Is this normal to receive a biometric instruction letter?
Do need to submit the biometrics done during visit visa,which was in August 2023, somewhere in the portal?
Please shed some light on this

Hello,
You will need to do biometrics again. For PR you always need to do new biometrics, even if you have done them previously for any temporary visa or permit.
