February 2023 - Citizenship Applications

Hello Folks
I took my oath recently ,on 20 Oct online.
My Time Line :
1. Applied Paper Based : Feb 9, 2023
2. AOR: 20 Mar 2023
3. Background Check: 30 Mar 2023
4. Citizenship Test Window: 15 Jun-6 Jul 2023
5.Test Taken: 1 Jul 2023 (20/20)
6. LPP Updated: 14 Sep 2023
7. Oath Ceremony Updated In Progress: 11 Oct 2023
8. Email invite received for oath: 12 Oct 2023
9. Oath Scheduled: 20 Oct 2023
10. After Oath , sent the Oath Form (Electronically Signed) to IRCC immediately on 20 Oct 2023
11. On 21 Oct 2023, I logged into IRCC portal for e-certificate download , it is saying you had issues in submitting form. I therefore, resent oath form ,this time manually signed.
Still the status remain same. Any idea, what could be the reason?

Call IRCC and check if they have your form. If yes, give 2-5 days for them to process it.

I had the same oath date as you! Maybe we even had the same ceremony?

My certificate came through on Monday October 23rd at around 5 PM. Try again this afternoon

Mine was the Mississauga Office. So we wouldn't have the same ceremony. Shame.

Supposing you sent the document with the file size requested (under 1,000 KB), and the agent name somewhere, and your file name etc. The best bet is to wait and see if it appears today in the afternoon. According to folks in this forum the Mississauga office is one of the slowest offices for processing the certificate and mine was available a day early.

Fingers crossed it is there today.

I did mention my seat number, ceremony date and ceremony number, have no idea about agent number? Can't recollect now what was the agent number! And my files were within 500 KB (each form)

It should still be fine. My agent specified that she wanted me to write her initials
But the instructions don't mention the need to put the initials of the agent. So I ended up sending two emails because I initially forgot to put the initial.

I think it will be fine. If it is not available by Thursday at 5 PM, call the IRCC

So my outland spousal sponsorship application took 3 years to process by IRCC. Now Citizenship application for myself is showing the same picture
