I am a canadian PR eligible to apply for canadian citizenship. If I marry an indian citizen will it impact my citizenship application? is it better to apply for citizenship as a single person? or does marital status and partner's visa status have no impact on the application?
It won’t. Your citizenship application is just yours, not a group/family application. Your marital status or wife’s country of citizenship has no impact on the application.
Just randomly I check everyday. What's going on my application like that. Then, I saw today new updates showed up.
I gave test on April 20th and it is still saying in process, whereas I seen for other people it is updating in a week or so. Is it normal?
Bran - yes to both; some obvious and some non-obvious questions. I would know the information in Discover Canada guide front to back and try utilizing the resources iriskandy mentioned in an earlier post. I scored 20/20, but honestly got lucky on 1 question.

Drop an email on the test email address and ask for an update.
I think many folks are sending out inquiry emails (even I did earlier last week). So this morning on my tracker I have this notice - I guess its applicable for all. Just be patient

If you haven’t gotten it 6 calendar days before the event, check your junk mail folder and contact our Client Support Centre to make sure we have the right contact information for you.
