Can I know what was the reason you put for urgent oath ceremony. My mother is waiting for her oath ceremony invite. She has to travel abroad for her medical treatment but it's not considered a valid reason as per urgent requests.

Looks like Edmonton App files are delayed.

I think so too.. I've had test complete since May 26th, nothing after that. LPP is taking too long

I had to go and join work in Doha, Qatar from 1st August 2023, I have an Indian Passport currently which is expiring soon and I can't renew it once I take Canadian citizenship- as dual nationality is not allowed in India.
So, if I leave for Qatar on my Indian passport then I will be in a situation where I will not have either passports or a valid Qatar visa being in a third country and then I will have to ask the Canadian government for assistance in those circumstances. I just explained all of this and the agents found it a genuine reason to do it urgently.

On the other hand, I reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba- most applications from my province are anyways processed faster in comparison to Ontario, BC or Quebec. So, maybe I was lucky that ways too.

I took the test on 19th June and my wife on 21st June.

Anyone facing delays in the citizenship process post test? My test was approved on May 3, 2023 and the last update on my account was made on May 5.
All my other updates i.e. Background verification, physical presence, language skills, and prohibition show "In progress"....we are getting into July and getting stressed out.
