Hi Guys,

I had a fast tracked timeline between PPR to COPR.

PPR - Sept 19
Passport submitted - Sept 20 (Friday) - Colombo, Sri Lanka - VFS
Passport with Visa Stamp - Ready for collection on Sept 24 (Tuesday) (just 3 business days for processing)

I didnt expect anything at least for about a week from the passport submission date but to my surprise I received an email from VFS today indicating that my passport was ready for collections (I opted for it vs. mailing). The fast tracked processing did make me nervous and I was ready for a surprise but yes it was indeed the stamped passport along with the COPR letter.

This group has been extremely supportive especially once you pass your 6 months timeline. I hope the conversations in the FEB AOR group ends soon (in anticipation that everyone gets their PPR soon).

Nah, its just Sydney being Sydney....that's all I hope :(
@CaCal In my GCMS notes, I saw there was an RR against PoF (FD and PF), I had sent an LoE through a webform in the middle of August.
No response to date. My file was last touched on the 26th of April. Raised another GCMS, hopefully, that would come by the 10th of Oct.

Is there any update on the Application profile (like a new message) when PPR is issued or does it come only via e-mail?

I think there are no hard and fast rules - though possibly each visa office does it one way or the other. Mine (Singapore VO) came as a request in my online account. I got an update email (no details, just said my account was updated), but this came almost a day after I saw the update.

If you are an FSW applicant and your VO is in Canada, then 99% of the time, it will come as an email only, your account will show no updates until you are issued CoPR. Same goes for most VO around the world

When I sent them a LOE, for nothing actually as it seems now, they took almost a month to send an acknowledgement then another two weeks to notify that they had transferred it to the VO. So, it might not be late yet

Long shot but worth trying. My friend's COPR got rejected due to photos issues. Does anyone know where to get photos done in Seattle area where he resides?

I got a 2nd ghost Update today morning. First one was last week and was followed by RPRF payment request. I did the same n updated my a/c with receipt as It was written as ADR in my CIC a/c. After 2-3 days it changed to we are reviewing the additional docs you provided.

Today 2nd ghost update i.e. as Application/Profile Updated in CIC a/c. Nothing changed in the a/c. I was thinking they have updated the payment and are going to the next step BUT IT IS STILL WRITTEN AS “ We are reviewing the additional docs you provided.”

So I guess it is just an update or fake ghost update ☹️

WHAT DO YOU THINK GUYS ? Please provide your insights friends.

MY AOR is 16 Feb 2019.
