Hi guys, I am about to send me schedule a and form for my wife. Does anybody know if it is mandatory to add your name on PA's passport as spouse?

Never heard of such thing. Can you elaborate more?

Good question

I see that you have only 3 posts in this forum, you will need to be an "active member" with 10 posts or more to be able to change your signature.

Once you have the 10 posts then you can go to profile on top, click on Forum Profile Information on the left side.

day said 5 business days.... In my case it has been 13 days so far and still haven't got their request. Also i got the msg on my CIC account that they have sent me correspondence ( 11.03 ) but still not a word from them.

You should contact IRCC. I say this because the same thing is happening to me. I received my AOR 1 and SA March 8 and 10th and linked my application few days later. On ECAS it says that on March 13 they sent me a correspondence which is not in my CIC account. I called IRCC and they stated that there is a request to upload Schedule A and Police certificate; but for some reason it's not in the CIC account and hence I can't upload these documents. They told me a file a technical issue report. Apparently this is a fairly common issue.

It is not required. You can apply without adding the name.
I have applied for my wife and my name is not added in her passport.

When you get a PPR request means that the application is done!! Dont do things IRCC did not ask for.

Do you think maybe I haven't received my AOR2 yet, is because I sent in my Schedule A with my recent FBI background check and a copy of my Canadian background check?
-Since we were planning for the old one, we decided to send it in anyways.. already filled out and completed.

Could that be it?
Our application still says in processing, but we haven't had a request for Schedule A, or any messages..

or are they pissed at us for sending in 180 pages of facebook/text chats and don't want to deal with us at all....

Hi Joe,

We received a message from CIC basically telling me I can sponsor my common law partner. The message says they will send correspondence to my partner in the next five business days. It's been 8 days and we haven't received any message from CIC. I called them yesterday and they told me to wait for that email. Is this normal?

I have the same problem, they sent a message to my wife (Sponsor) telling her she is accepted as a sponsor and they will send me an email in the next 5 business days. it has been longer now (7 days) and i didnt get anything!! I dont know what is wrong ... would be great to let me know if you get a response!

On the IRCC webform, I uploaded my case specific technical issue (that I didn't get a request to upload schedule a in my CIC account even though they requested it) and attached upload schedule A and PCC as pdf on March 20. I called them today (March 28) and they received my Schedule A and police certificate and the request for a medical should me made within a day or so. I am still having issues with my CIC account and he told me there is no consequences to not having your application linked or a faulty CIC account. You will still receive all the communication via mail or email. Linking your application just speeds things up.

I am in the same boat with you. I haven't received AOR2 yet and it still says Application received in ECAS. As of now we uploaded Sched A, PCC and Medicals. I am still waiting to receive AOR2 and also they didn't inform us that application has been transferred to VO so I am waiting to receive that notification as well.

Just so you know I also sent in 150 pages watsapp chat logs. Not sure whether they're pissed at us lol

My ECAS says medical passed, application in review for eligibility.

Submitted Schedule A and PCC but no medical
