No, you don't have to. You just have to provide them employment confirmation letter from your current employer. If possible also provide them your offer letter provided by your employer when you were employed. That should give details like how much you're making, how many hours you work in a week.

What if you are unemployed at the time of mailing your application?

I don't recall them caring about employment info for the principal applicant, only the sponsor. I'm self-employed, and that's all I wrote, and they've never asked me for another detail. My sponsor, on the other hand, provided a statement of business activities and his NOA.

Edit: You have to account for your time for the past 10 years on the background declaration, without gaps, but there was nothing about providing supporting evidence of where you were employed during those times if you were employed for someone else. I'd assume that if they need to/want to verify that stuff that happens during the background check portion of the process.

Thank you! I don't have the application in front of me, correct me if I'm wrong please but, I only have to provide back to age of 18 if I have not been working 10 years correct? I am only 23 so I haven't even been working 10 years yet.

My husband is self employed and is going to provide his "Option C"

Yes. That would be correct, to age 18 in that case. I'm in my mid-30s, hehe, so my brain just immediately went to the 10 years part.

Thank you, once again lol.

Do you know if his Option C would be sufficient enough for him to submit for proof of income?

I'd have to ask my husband actually what we used, thinking back. It might have been the Option C. It's possible I was getting them mixed up in my head. I just looked at my scanned copy again but I can't actually tell which it is. I remember being confused by that as well when we were getting everything ready to mail. I seem to recall a discussion about that being the Option C but it says "Notice of Assessment" on it, which in my mind makes no sense...though that's neither here nor there. ;)

Either way, I'll ask him when he's awake again and get you a concrete answer on that. Someone else may be able to answer in the meantime.

Yes I believe Option c is notice of assessment. At the time we submit our app the most recent option c he will have will be from 2015. He will not have his 2016 option c at that point yet. I hope this doesn't cause a problem

In my understanding no - They ask for the phone number and address, so that should be sufficient.

That is only for the sponsor evaluation, not the principal applicant. They do not ask for the phone number and address of the PA's employer(s).

I decided start a new thread as I'm in this category, I'm planning to submit it within a week.

Any one in my club feel free to message/inquire here.
Can someone please explain what does outland spousal application means?

I am on PGWP in canada and working with NOC B. I wanted to apply for my spouse work permit and she is in Pakistan outside canada. could any one please guide me how I could bring her in Canada ? Thanks

I (PA) submitted my application on the 1st Feb from London, UK.
Anxiously refreshing the royal mail tracker for delivery confirmation.
It seems to have been 'passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in CANADA' but not confirmed delivered.

Fingers crossed it gets there intact. In the meantime I have completed my Schedule A and applied for police certificate.

Good luck to all the other Feb applicants!
