Hey guys,

Received an e-mail from the Ottawa office today requesting a scan of my passport (I didn't have one until just recently, Michigan has a special driver's license that allows entry into Canada without a passport, so I hadn't bothered).

I assume this is good news for Ottawa applicants that they're efficiently working on our applications ;D It also gave me my UCI number.

Sounds good :)

So I don't see Medical Results line on the PA side. My wife did upfront medical. I am the sponsor. Can I call CIC to inquire if they have received medical results?

My wife already sent an email to London Visa Office on March 30th, and she attached e-medical receipt. Its been 21 days for that and still no update.

Or should I just relax because I know for sure I sent it with the application, and now second time through email.

Mine doesn't say it either, but I did mine back in October and expected that I may have to do another as it is likely the decision may be made after the 1 year expiration of the medical (though I was hoping it may be extended by them)

The e-medical receipt was definitely sent in our pack too!

I am not overly concerned that the line is missing on ecas as I'm sure if there's an issue with the application they will inform me.

Awesome. Hopefully, I'll be hearing from them soon for extra documents, as we're on a similar time line. Was there any change to your ECAS status after they sent that email?

So MIDI sent back my CSQ application because the payment failed: I didn't realize it had to be paid with a credit card, and mine is a debit card. I knew it said "credit card" everywhere but I thought it was just a way of saying "card". It wasn't. :D If only we could pay the fees online just like we did for the PR application! It would be much easier and quicker.

I need to send everything back with the payment, I guess the only option for me is to pay with an international cheque via my bank (I live in the UK). Let's hope I get it righ this time!

You also could have purchased a pre-paid VISA or MasterCard and used that as I think it would have been easier and faster than waiting for the cheque.

No change so far, not with my husband's log-in or mine.

Does anyone know if they usually request RPRF when they request documents? Or does that come later?

Oh, you're right, this hadn't even crossed my mind! It's too late now but a week should be fine, I'm not too worried. I just hope that the lady who took care of it didn't make any mistake, she looked like she didn't know what she was doing and I had to check every single word she entered in the form after she mispelled my name, the word Québec and the postcode... At least I have your solution if this doesn't work out! :D

Thanks Toeknee, I will just relax then. Yes I also definitely sent it in the package and also through case enquiry email.

The first time i sent a incomplete amount. I wrote 272 istead 275$. But i figured the mistake right away and sent another application the next day with mandat poste and not cheque.I agree that should be an online payement. Anyway Dont worry they are approximatly opening the files 1 week after receipt.

When do you guys think would be an appropriate time to request notes?

Since they've requested documents from many of us it's apparent they're working on them. Wait a few more weeks?

I would wait at least 2 more months.

I've already ordered and received my first notes. I read in another thread explaining the notes that the initial officer at CPC-M will put "review required" if they see any flags. I read it's a good sign if eligibility says not started so I ordered my notes for that exact reason.

3rd line added on permanent resident side in other words received AOR2 today
Best wishes for awl of you thank u

Hi all

I believe I received AOR2 today.
For a while the spousal sponsorship side said 'in process' and the applicant side said 'application received' but it now says 'in process'. However, when I click into it, it does not have the third line yet. Anyone experience anything similar?

Congratulations to al those with updates. More good news on the way.
@Mega any news from MIDI yet? cos am anxiously waiting
