Hi all

I believe I received AOR2 today.
For a while the spousal sponsorship side said 'in process' and the applicant side said 'application received' but it now says 'in process'. However, when I click into it, it does not have the third line yet. Anyone experience anything similar?

Only when you will receive your third line on the PA side will this mean you received AOR2.

Should be coming soon!

I just checked my status and it says, "DECISION MADE" - what the?! THAT QUICK!?!?!

I hope it's all good though - my application was very straight forward and easy to navigate so I'm hoping it just went REALLY smoothly and that it's not BAD NEWS!!

I am all for the positive stuff.. but I'm just blown away a decision has been made already...................?!?!?!!?!?

GOD I HOPE IT'S GOOD NEWS!!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed... i hope there's an email over the next week advising me on what this decision is!! I haven't been asked for a passport yet or anything of the like... nerve racking stuff!

I think that if it was bad news they would have requested an interview beforehand and you would have found out this way.

I am very confident that you got the decision you were hoping for.

I agree, DM wouldn't come with a negative decision without an interview for eligibility. The only way it could be a refusal would be blatant misrepresentation or an obvious criminality/security issue

Man they're quick at Ottawa!!

They just needed a scan of it because I didn't send one in with my app, what I provided as a travel document wasn't enough I guess.

Hopefully though in a couple or few weeks we'll hear the same good news!! Our case is relatively simple and straightforward as well, though that doesn't keep me from worrying.

Judging by your flag display picture and your user name you're an Australian/Canadian couple?

If so, you won't be asked to submit your passport as you are Visa Exempt. You will receive an email informing you decision has been made and you will receive the COPR in the mail.

From what i can tell you're the first in 2016! I didn't see any other decision made in January either
