Congratulations to everyone receiving their AORs. I remember those stressful days of putting the application together and now finally the process has started for us.

For those wondering when can they access ECAS. Give it a few days, a week maybe to access ECAS.

Congrats! that is quicker than me and others. hopefully our Feb. applicants are the lucky batch after liberal government changed the policy.

February Applicant here. We have submitted our application last February 27 and CIC received it last March 2.

Hope to receive my husband AOR and SA this month.

They will send your AOR and SA to the sponsor's email.... After your application gets transferred to the visa office it will be sent to both the applicant and Sponsor

same thing happened to me... I was told to submit this form. WHAT A MISLEADING NAME THE FORM HAS.
I'm being sponsored by my Canadian Husband.
From what I understand, the form is to be filled up by the principal applicant. In my case it was myself. I'm only applying for myself so I only filled up information of myself.

I haven't received AoR yet maybe seniors could explain better.

I thought the IMM5406 is for the principal applicant only? IMM5406 is not on the sponsor's cheklist.

You will not get anything in the postage otherwise it would take ages I am sure. All correspondence is done through email. Just make sure to save the emails for your own reference
