Yes, you might've been approved even if you haven't yet received the email or if it doesn't show on ECAS. I was told I got my SA yesterday on the phone, but I still haven't received the email and my status is still "in process" on ECAS, and the status for Permanent Resident is still just marked as "received", so I guess it all depends on the case. It's all very confusing as each case is different, but I really hope everyone still awaiting confirmation will get their SA soon.

Thanks so much everyone for the positive words! It means a lot.

Application received on Feb 22, I haven't received AOR, however Just Received the Sponsorship Approval 10 minutes back. Application Forwarded to New Delhi for further processing.

OK guys, I just received my SA confirmation by email! My application will be processed in London.
Wishing all the best to you guys still waiting.

Thank you for your words.. I have met my MP and asked them to look into it. They said they will enquire and update me. Hope to hear something soon..

Received AOR2 from NDVO today.

3rd Line added on PA side: WE STARTED PROCESSING XXX'S APPLICATION ON MARCH 28, 2016

They gave my wife a separate UCI, through which she can log in to ECAS too.

;D ;D

Thanks T.Rex87, I guess I'll just have to wait then. :'( >:( ???

To idzawa, unique_username, AR846,Bob140727, fniazi4u and those who are still waiting for SA, I was reading another forum and I read that if you have "in process" status for Permanent Resident on ecas it's because you have your SA.
Got my SA today.... So relieved
My file transferred to London visa office
Good luck to everyone waiting for SA.....Hope they will get the good news very soon

Still waiting on "medical results have been received" line on ECAS :( :(

Guys,

Thanks. I'm Canadian and have been living in Italy with my Italian husband for 7 years now so I'm applying outland. Still in the gathering documents stage. We're now starting the process of sponsorship to live in Ontario Canada. We have no dependents. I was thinking of hiring someone to look over my application but since I live in Italy, I'm not sure how to do that. The application process seems quite overwhelming. There is some conflicting info as well. I read that Italians don't have to do the medical exam. I emailed the embassy in Rome but no reply yet and I haven't been able to find a doctor to do the medical exam, not do I have the form mentioned that I think the embassy is going to give me.

My husband works in Italy, does he need a letter from his employer? I'm guessing that we both don't have to submit proof of income but that we do have to submit last years tax assessments. I have no tax assessments from Canada as I have to pay taxes in Italy. Do I attach my Italian tax assessment? What is the minimum necessary income requirement?

Any additional information you can give to make the application process easier would be great. I want to apply from Italy so that we can arrive in Canada together. After applying, how long before we can fly over? Because It would be great to be able to go this year, even this summer. I would also like my husband to have a health card when he arrives. I know I have a lot of questions.

Thank you. I really appreciate any help I can get from anyone.

- You would need to show your Italian finances
- You would need to prove that you are planning to settle in Canada after getting PR for your husband.
- You would need to translate your Italian language docus to English / French as per your preference of communication with CIC. You have an option to choose either English / French
- Currently avg PR applications timeline from filing it to receiving it is 17 months. Your spouse can fly in when you receive PR
- Your husband will not get health card until 90 days after landing in Canada as PR. He has to land, then file, and then he will receive it
