I have just sent my package April 13. So I suppose I am enrolled into the stress machine of time and patience with all of you guys

I have sent among documents IMM 0008 dated November 2014. However I see an updated one Feb 2015. I checked both forms for any changes. I see none

So fingers crossed for me that they are not gonna return my file back :

So an AOR is an Acknowledgment Of Receipt which means what exactly ? Does it mean they received the package and that's it ? or they checked the package for completeness and its okay to proceed but not yet a decision on a sponsor approval done yet ?

And how far away does someone get an AOR from date of receiving and from getting a sponsor approval ?

Application sent 19th February and asked for a form we missed on 1 April, that information was signed for yesterday so I am guessing aor very soon

Good news ahead soon - Fingers crossed

So there was one application missed in your package and CIC asked for it ? I am asking cause I want to know if they needed one of the application to be re sent do they usually just ask for what they need or they send the whole package back and ask to resubmit !!

Welcome Senthuuran! You can add yourself to the spreadsheet, but once you're in you won't be able to edit the first few columns. However, the administrator of the spreadsheet can change things (not sure who that is), so just write a post about what you'd like to change!

AOR means Mississauga has received your application. Up until October last year it was rare for applicants to receive an AOR but that was because the processing time was around 40 days. From October onwards the processing time went up to 96 days at one point, so to save them being hounded for an update they sent out AOR's to let applicants know their applications had been received.

Generally you should receive sponsor approval within 2 weeks of receiving AOR.

I just called, they had a old email on my wife's file from when she joined the IEC.

I imagine AOR went there. For those of you that they requested additional information from, did they email or letter mail?

My Wife's ECAS is updated to In Progress however we never received AOR.

Same here my file was recv'd on Feb 24th. I can see its in process but No AOR as yet

How did you access ecas without the application number?

They sent me email for upto date application forms as they changed in February

They just asked for the 2 forms and gave us 45 days to send back to the processing department rather than redo whole application. It also said that we won't lose place in que as they had application

In my case, my wife had a UCI before and I was able to view the status with that.

I might email CPC-M and see if they require new forms from me.

Was your app received before or after the new forms markareader?
