February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Here is my timeline:

Category: BC PNP
Visa Office: CPC Ottawa
Application received: 17. Jan 2014.
AOR and Medical: 21. Feb 2014.
RPRF Request: 27. Feb 2014. (it was before medical was done)
RPRF paid: 28. Feb 2014.
Medical done: 03. Mar 2014.
Reminder e-mail (RPRF, PCC...): 15. May

I have contacted Sydney by e-mail to ask about putting my application "in process" (how long I need to wait for it and what is the next step in the process for PR)
CIC have answered me today:

Your application is in process. An email was sent on 17 May 2014 as a reminder to:

· Renew passports if less than 6 months validity

· Submit all police certificates required

· Review copy of application and check Personal Details and Addresses to ensure no GAPS and to submit a new Schedule A if there are GAPS

· Complete medicals

· Pay the RPRF


What does it mean? Why does My ECAS stil show APPLICATION RECEIVED if it is in process?
How long is normal to wait for PPR after this stage?

I think the "application received" status will not change to "In process" on ECAS until the file is transferred to a visa office (CPP-Ottawa). I applied in February, Med done in April and ECAS status is still "Application received". The change to "IN process" status after med is received could take upto 7 months, could be faster. Nobody knows how fast it will be. Can just hope pass port request is here soon.

Thanks for posting your question on RCMP fingerprints. I have also to go for RCMP fingerprints clearance. Would you pls tell me a bit in detail what's the procedure and how long it takes. All I know it is a usual thing to request RCMP clearance. Thanks

Do they request RCMP for all Inland applicants or is it selective???? Didn't know about RCMP request at all.

Got AOR : 20th April 2012
Apllication filed In CIC : 5th june 2012
Online Status on 6th June 2012 : Application Received
Interview with my relative in canada : 28th August 2012
Additional documents and updated ielts required : 24th Dec 2012
All documents sent : 17th Feb 2013
Got married : 4th Jan 2014 (informed about my status and want to accompany my husband in application who lived in Spain)
Additional documents of mine after changes due to my marriage and my spouse documents as well : 21st Jan 2014
RPRF of mine and my spouse : 21st jan 2014
Online Status on 6th Feb 2014 : (In Process)
RPRF and documents submitted: 13th March 2014



Anyone get Medical Request? How much time does it more require? Anyone who has same timeline and waiting like me?

I have been asking the same question but no response... probably because they do not share the same visa office like us. I have heard from the rumormill that the London visa office takes a lot of application so it might take a while...

My online pr application status is still "Application received" at least yours is "in process". Hope we receive the medical request soon.

Did you submit your RCMP with your application or did they request for RCMP separately? IF they requested RCMP at a later date, how long after application submission did they ask for RCMP?

my application received by Nova scotia on april 28 2014. no answer yet

Heyy they replied to me in exactly one month. however there are some cases where they took a little over a month. Hang in there your reply from NS should be here by end of this week or early next week.
