I think it is good news but I understand that you want confirmation.

My wife's status on eCAS was changed to In process on June 23rd ;D

Nice bono, good luck. We have been in process for just over a month now.

still nothing new here, but I follow a spreadsheet from people who apply from russia / ukraine. I don't know if the ukraine applicants use the canadian embassy in Moscow (doubt it), but, there has been updates lately on people who applied in january/early february at the moscow vo. I'm late february, so I guess I could get in process within the next month :). Assuming they go in order.. which who knows....

Hi February applicants...

Just want to share that I saw a post of someone that submitted application
in February, the VO is Manila, and he is sponsoring his wife...

guess what.. she was asked her passport last Friday.....

this is being faster than what I though.... get ready Manila applicants to receive
a call for Passports soon....

Or just lets wait and see....

8) :P :o ;) :D ;D :-[

That's great news! Any new updates from the Februrary group?
I haven't been able to log on to check my status since last Friday (although I can log on with the sponsor's info.) Otherwise, it still reads "Application Received" for me. No developments (via Warsaw office)

Hi all,

Just an update, my wife received a call from the Canadian high Commission today, stating her PR has been approved. They will be returning PP with instructions! Entire process took just over 5 months!

Hi guys!
Just an update. I just got an email from CIC asking for additional docs. It said

This refers to your application for Permanent Residence in Canada. Your file has been transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa for further review.

Case Status:

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

· ******** - **** **** ** ****:
· RPRF, Family Class: Have your sponsor pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee in Canada
o This must be received at this office by: 2014/09/07

· Marriage Certificate / Licence: Marriage/certificate(s)
o This must be received at this office by: 2014/09/07
·

So after I pay for the fee and get them the marriage certificate, does that mean they'll begin processing things? Or will they put it in a waiting pile until September? It's weird hearing from them after so long. I'm excited, nervous, anxious. Hahahaa

Finally I got the letter with the COPR!!!
It took more than I expected but it I got it!! I'm so happy and relief.
Good luck to all of you with you applications.
If anyone want to take over the spreadsheet I would appreciated. At this point I don't think I'm going to follow as much the forum

It's hard to say. Depends on which officer is working your file. Sounds like September is your bring forward date though. You can only send everything off as soon as you can and see what happens.

My aunt works for Immigration and told me that Ottawa is averaging 6 months for applications to complete. I know that's a little different than what happens around here, but it's let's be optimistic :)

Thanks for the info. Got any other good intel? :)

Actually, Ottawa seems to be becoming more regular for 6 month processing. January applicants on here are landing! Fingers crossed it stays that way! :)
