DECISION MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations.....
Your status changed from in process to decision made. But i don't know how long will be take to process my application yet" Application received".

Thank you everyone! It is SO crazy to think this is all going to be over and "real life" can begin!
I honestly felt like this whole process would never end.

I am living next to my mailbox :)

Works out perfectly for me to land on January 7th when we re-enter Canada.

Speaking of Landing, are there detailed instructions that come with your COPR or is there a thread somewhere with all the details for that?

I think someone started a Landing thread a while ago, but I have no idea where it ended up. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask and I'll answer the best I can.

Edited to add: found it! http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/landing-posts-t241167.0.html

no, the copr doesn't really come with instructions. at least any that are helpful or is related to bringing your stuff over. the landing is pretty simple. they will ask the same questions that are written on the COPR, sign, have you sign, update your canadian address and send you on your way.

if you are bringing items over (or have any to follow), you will need to fill out B4 forms (easy to find by googling). 1 form for items with you, and 1 form for "goods to follow". You don't have to be specific with the list. if you have 3 suitcases of clothes, that's what you write. if you have 3 boxes of books, then you write "3 boxes of books". for larger electronics, it's recommended to put their serial numbers on the form and list them separately. you don't have to claim anything you are wearing (ie: wedding rings). you will then assign each listed item a value and put the total value on the form. at the goods counter, they will input the info and give you a receipt which you will need to use anytime you plan to bring any "goods to follow" over.

Got our COPR in the mail today :D :) :D ;D

So excited!!!!!

Now I just need to get saturday night off and we will go to burlington for a nice evening and cross back on sunday and this will be over with!!!!

thank you so much for the support you guys, its great to know other people are in the same boats!!!

COPR received in the mail today! It was sent on the 13!

It took as literally almost 9 months on the dot.

Thank you, so much to everyone for the love and support you've shown as we've taken this journey. I couldn't have done this without you guys.

I'm landing January 7th on the way home from visiting with family for Christmas!

Congratulations to you,
I am so happy for you, now you will have a Merry, Merry, Christmas !!!!

Unfortunately for us with residences being processed in Manila the story is different,
nothing is moving in that Visa office since late August and early September,
Just one residence approved here and there. Everything points to the government
putting a cap in visas to Manila, or worst, a massive laid off for locally engaged visa
officers, Government in the drive to present a surplus in the next year budget is reducing
services to Canadians like never before. It is hurting everybody, unemployed, veterans
and new immigrant.

Thanks Miss,
All applicants from Manila Visa Office are so disappointed,
But we are all in the same boat and waiting,
December is near, maybe something will happen as
Christmas present for all of us waiting.

We got DECISION MADE today :) I might have started to cry at my desk at work. Then my joy subsided and I got paranoid...We sent in the passport request copies the beginning of November and asked in two additionals emails to confirm they received the copies. They never replied and had made clear in the PPR that without the passport copies the application could be denied. I guess you never stop worrying...

Finally have decision made showing up in our login today. Gonna give them a call tomorrow and see when the passport comes back. Can see the finish line!!
