February 2014 Outland Applications?

My wife received an email from CIC to say her application was received on Feb 24. It was sent from a general CIC email address but has the Sydney VO info at the bottom - so I can only assume this is AOR2 since our file was in transfer to Sydney as of Mar 25th....at least I'd hope so!

Steler - can you comment how your AOR2 from Paris looked?

When I received the 3rd email I was so confused because it looked like the first one, until I realized that it had the address from Paris. So, if your email has the address from your VO, congratulations! You have the second AOR! Welcome to the club

I have a friend from Australia that went through this process too. He got it very fast, so maybe you can be lucky and have it this summer or maybe even before!

We don't update the spreadsheet personally, Steler has volunteered to do that for us. So as you get information just post it on here and steler will update the spreadsheet for us

would that indicate SA?
because till now no SA yet.

please help. I read somewhere in this thread that once you have that in your ecas, somewhow we cans ay that SA is ok already.

that does usually mean SA/file transfer...it's only once your file is transferred to the VO that they update ECAS with that information. does it say decision made anywhere? could be your SA email was lost in a junk email or you're getting snail mail like a lot of other people have been, even if they indicated they wanted email correspondence. how long have you been waiting since AOR? If it's been longer than is reasonable you could always call CIC. A couple people here have gotten verbal SA confirmation from an call centre agent.

What does the sponsor's half of ECAS show? Decision Made, or Application Received?

congrats it looks like you got your sponsorship approval on the 28th.
eCAS wouldn't say file is transferred, though i would call next week and they can tell you when it was actually transferred to VO.

I hope im gonna receive the letter really SOON because im really worried because they just started processing our application on March 28 and then on the same day they said they send us a letter regarding the decision is it really soon for them to decide on same day?? Maybe they see something wrong or what.?. =(

They sent my letter March 26th, should be overnight delivery to get to me (I'm in Ottawa). Nothing. Haha. >.>

EDIT: I guess 3 days for snail mail, but still!

If the AOR is them sending an email saying they have received everything and are reviewing it, then yes. They got it 2/26/2014 and started processing my husband's eligibility to sponsor me first. I just got an email today with the SA for 3/28/2014. Woo Hoo! Below is all the info I have to date. Thanks again!
