February 2014 Outland Applications?

hey guys
i need to understand something. I know this may sound silly but i really need your opinions

my application status online says "medical results received ". But, i didn't submit any proof that i did medicals. Last year October i applied for a study permit to Canada and got denied, i did medicals yes, but they were for my STUDY PERMIT. And i DID NOT submit provide anything to prove that i did medicals. What's going on?

I would advise you to contact CIC and inform them about the mistake, it may delay your file in the future... maybe they match your name with a medical on file... but better to clarify.

Hey guys! Just curious - did anyone in this thread send in their applications without doing the medical upfront? If so, when you got your SA, was there a note on there telling you to do the medical ASAP?

You can get your medicals done after the Permanent Residence status has been approved, that will delay a little your file,
It would be advisable to get them done at your convenience, the medical file will be transferred electronically to the system, but you
need to send proof of Medical done. Or, if you want, you can just wait for them to ask for the Medial examination.

If you're doing an inland app, you wait for them to request the medicals. but if you're doing outland, they *have* to be done upfront - with some exception - like Zarilenth mentioned, some people on the forum have had their file transferred, but with their SA letter they have been told to do the medicals ASAP. if you don't provide proof upfront that you had the medicals done with an outland app they could return your file to you as incomplete and/or delay your AOR until you provide the medical. I don't think that's happened to anyone in the February thread though. Seems most of us didn't want to risk having the file returned or processing delayed

We got SA today whoop whoop! Confirmed that my app will be sent to Pretoria VO.

I got an AOR email last March 27 but i haven't received any SA email yet so yesterday April 1st i called the CIC call center to find out and the lady told me they haven't send any letter yet so she cannot provide me information about when I was approved as a sponsor but she told me Sponsor Eligibility passed and no additional documents needed (on the first stage) is what she can see on the file. Does it means SA for you guys??.. And my ecas changed into this just now April 2nd..

congrats it looks like you got your sponsorship approval on the 28th.
eCAS wouldn't say file is transferred, though i would call next week and they can tell you when it was actually transferred to VO.

ECAS finally let me log in today! Whoot!

My husband and I (In our sponsorship approval letter) have been asked for our Medicals, so we are getting those done ASAP. . . hopefully by the beginning of May they will be sent out.

It's so crazy to me how far we are already in this. . . it seems like just yesterday I was doing all the homework I could on this and was totally ignorant to everything and was scrambling for answers. I'm in a great mood today guys, stay super positive!

when i checked mine,

they said they have received my medical result.

but until now, No SA still.

My wife received an email from CIC to say her application was received on Feb 24. It was sent from a general CIC email address but has the Sydney VO info at the bottom - so I can only assume this is AOR2 since our file was in transfer to Sydney as of Mar 25th....at least I'd hope so!

Steler - can you comment how your AOR2 from Paris looked?

Ah, could you tell me what dates you put on the application form? I didn't realize all the forms had to be dated within a short period of submitting.

Sorry to hear. If it makes you feel better, you are probably not the only one with expired dates and expired forms.

Ah, could you tell me what dates you put on the application form? I didn't realize all the forms had to be dated within a short period of submitting.

I think it was more that he used an old outdated version of a form, not that he dated them a while ago. Although maybe it's a bit of both?
