Oops, I thought I had mentioned it here but I guess not. I sent my app out and it was received on February 25th. Maybe add me to the list :).

Glad it came through - was it the standard notice this time?

The Spreadsheet is up to date. Looking forward to add more information!!!

Thanks everyone. I believe it was the standard form, I received my UCI. Now to wait on SA. I also sent some NEW documents along with copies of all my old ones (seeing as I had already paid for the pictures and the postage) so hopefully they bundle it all together and send it off to Roma!

I know it's only a week. But my hubby can't even get a traveller's Visa to come to Canada so we've been apart a long time. 1 week is a big deal!

And if I hadn't gotten my MP involved, it would have been worse.

Have patience boys and girls but if something does go wrong, a call from your MP (well, their secretary of course) can make a difference!

Congrats to you Canadian_belle1 ! Very happy for you!

We sent out our missing document yesterday morning. Expected to get there sometime within this week. Hopefully they haven't shoved my application to far to the side and they pick it up again as soon as my Assessment gets there. Still am kicking myself for this -.-

Hi!.. :)
Can i join the spreadsheet?.. Here is our timeline
Category........: FAM (Common Law)
Visa Office......: Manila
App. Filed.......: Feb 23, 2014
Medical..........: Dec 03, 2013

I sent our package via Canada Post last February 23 (Sunday) and pay almost $50 for the next day delivery. Since it was a sunday and the truck will pick it up on Monday I expected it will be delivered on February 25 which is Tuesday but when i track it the whole day of feb25, 26 and morning of 27 it still not yet delivered until feb27 around 10am the status changed into delivered but the date stated there is feb26.. Im kinda upset that I paid for the next day delivery and it was delivered 2days late.. So now should I put feb23 or 24 in App. Filed or the feb26 the day it was delivered according to the tracking information? Thanks.. :)

It happened to me just like many others,
today I was checking my inbox and junk mail to see if I have
a message from immigration.... well.... I was early.... I did not expect
anything for today, but anyhow... I was hopping....
But from tomorrow to Friday I am hoping to have the AOR,
the first step into the long process of applications....
If I am lucky ...tomorrow will be the day,
if I am 1/2 lucky it will be Thursday,
and if I am 1/33 lucky will be Friday,
But anything after Friday will be agony.

hoping they all did not take a march break vacation!.. still awaiting SA

It was not worth spending that much for next day delivery. When you have to wait almost 33 months to the processing to complete, a few days doesn't make a big difference. We sent ours from Gatineau, Quebec (across from Ottawa) late on a Wednesday night (too late for that day), several weeks ago, by the lowest priced parcel service and it arrived in Mississauga by Monday morning.

Depending on what type of service you paid for, you may be able to get a refund for the late delivery. Read details here: http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/personal/support/helpcentre/tracking/late_delivery.jsf

Thanks for the reply Beshoo, Im glad it will only take us 14 months (Manila) not 33months of waiting.. :) And we just got too excited that finally we gonna send the package after almost 3months that's why we choose the next day delivery.. :)

Yes, 14 months is better. I was thinking about Islamabad with the 33 months. Manila is bad but not that bad. Anyway, you should see if you are eligible for a refund. You only have 30 from the day it should have arrived.

I already added you to the spreadsheet. I put the 26th because is the day that it arrived to the M-CPC.
Go to the post office and ask for a refund. Canada Post should give you back your money.
