I just looked at the spreadsheet and noticed that it is missing a section for people who don't get passport request but are in process. Is there any way to add a section to the spreadsheet somewhere? Thanks! :)

Anyone have any idea of what I should expect?

I'm Canadian living in Canada, my wife American living in the US.

CPP Received our application in LA on Feb 18.

Somehow it ended up in Ottawa.

March 12, 2013 - approved to sponsor my wife.

How long do you think it will take? What are the next steps!??

I miss my wife so much :(

Sid4ever2009 do you know when your application was received in Ottawa? I am also being processed at CPP-Ottawa and our timelines are almost identical. I can tell you that they have just started processing the February applicants so we should be very close to getting our passport requests! If you would like come over to that forum and read up a little on what is happening and check out the spreadsheet to see the timelines. It should be soon. :)

Here is a link to Ottawa spreadsheet:

Hi everyone,
Now that my interview has been scheduled and was told to go with my passport, what will happen after??
How long does it usually talk to issue a Visa after interview??
Advise please!! Thanks
Best of luck to all of us still waiting.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOP

Got notice today!
Interview not required!!

They want a copy of passport + my latest pay stub.
Happy Friday!

Thanks!

Quick question. This was requested in the email:

"COPY OR SCANNED IMAGE of your passport and passports of your accompanying family members, as noted below."

I presume the "accompanying family members" are if my wife had kids and they were immigrating as well - is that correct? In our case, my wife is the only person on the application

Paystubs? That seems like a weird request? Why would they ask for that?

Hello! I would like to be added to the spreadsheet. :D

I am a Canadian sponsoring my common law American boyfriend (currently living in Canada with me)
We sent our application to CPP-O on February 14th, 2013
Our application was received at the CPP-O on February 18th, 2013
Sponsorship approval received on March 25th, 2013
Medical results were received (we sent them in October 2012 - I don't remember the day :( )

I don't know what AOR is... I sen't them a fax on July 25th requesting the addition of my e-mail to the application. They replied on July 29th by e-mail saying that our file is in queue for review by an officer and it should be examined within the next 1-2 months.

Waiting patiently for the passport request!! We can't wait! :P

Bad bad news... So I got this email on monday asking for police clearance certificate for NZ, well I called immigration and got told it can take up to 6 MONTHS before they get the clearance from NZ? WTF? The weirdest thing is that I have provided them the document ( I guess it expired since they have been processing it for 7 months..)
I am getting extremely frustrated with this whole thing, almost feels like it would be easier just to give up and return to NZ :-[

Yes, only your wife in that case. :)

WHAT?!? 6 months!! That seems absurd!! Why would they be so slow in NZ? How can it take that long to give police clearance? Really, really strange...

Hopefully it's sooner than that though.

I have no idea!! Im pretty sure it would take a day or two if the case officer cared enough, but I bet they put my file back on the pile with the other applications and get back to it months later... Would it be possible to order it myself??
