The sooner the better they say. Make sure you have signed all points on your part and tell your husband to do the same and double check them. The payment is easy he will have no problem what so ever!

My husband and I are here in Canada...I'm Canadian, he's Italian. I'm working hard and we are waiting and waiting for something from Rome....

I just wanted to ask you all what your online statuses say? So far, ours has said "Application Received" for the past 3 months. It worries me a bit...does it mean that they haven't even LOOKED at his application? I thought by now it should say "In Progress" or something of the like. Maybe I'm just worrying about nothing. Anyway, I see that most people are still waiting, too, so we don't feel to bad, but we would just like SOME kind of update...otherwise, we feel a bit lost!

OMG!!OMG!!OMG!!
I got my passport back! in 2 weeks! I got the PPR on April 26th but because I needed the passport for the CFA exam, I had to hold on to it until June 2nd. And I got it in mail today!!!!OMG!!!!Beijing office is super fast! Even with the strike!!!

Hope I can spread the good luck to all you guys!!!You will all get your PR real soon!!! ;D

Oh, that's great to hear! Thanks so much for reassuring us. Hopefully all of our statuses change soon to say "Visa Requested"! Let's hope!

Hey Everyone!!! I emailed the Sydney office since there still had been no change in ecas it still says " Application recieved" , asking if it was in process and if the Sydney office was on strike they replied

"Dear Mr Foster

Thank you for your sponsor's e-mail of 13 June 2013. Your application is in the processing queue. In due course, once it has been reviewed by a Visa Officer we will be in further contact to advise the next stage of processing.

So they ignored the strike question, hopefully it doesnt take too long as the meds expire in January!!!!

Please help me with this. My 23 y/o son has enrolled now in College but 1 yr course only at Canadian Hotel & Tourism Institute a branch of a school in Surrey here in the Philippines. We included him to be accompanying to Canada and we'll be paying $550 for him. Under what dependent type will he be?

Thanks Kuudir2! I was so so happy last night that I couldn't even fall asleep! And I even forgot to say, I got the passport back, with the PR visa on it!!!! So it's not a PPR for me, it's a VISA!! I'm already in Canada, so I'll just drive across the broad and come back then I'll be all set!
The entire process for me only took less than 4 months, despite the fact that I waited a month to send out the passport! Unbeliveable!

Ours also say "Applications receive and Medicals Received" the dates are from Mississauga. So far nothing from our VO Vienna
