Just be patient. ND has a very fast processing time and you will get sorted out very soon! No need to involve the MP...only resort to that if the processing time has been A LOT longer than the average. That's my 2 cents.

Why don't you call CPC here and tell them about it. I think you yourself can also change address on eCAS.

My two cents. :)
Good Luck!

Heyy guys,
I checked ecas with file number sent by CIC as I'm the primary applicant.
And I noticed that they messed up with my address in India. What should I do?
Do you think my husband (sponsor) should call them regarding this?

CIC Call Centre-1-888-242‑2100 (if you are in Canada).
Outside Canada-1-613-944-4000
Unfortunately there is no Canadian embasy in Canada. :P

This is the third day I have tried calling the call centre and after jumping through hoops the recording says all the agents are busy and hangs up on me. But other people can get through. Any advice? I am calling the 613 number from outside Canada.

From the January forum, they said it will take about 1 month for them to approve me.
One week down, 3 to go.

I need some serious encouragement............

Nonsense! You'll get approved. Just wait a week or two...they're starting March, so you shouldn't have much longer to wait...

I get them most of the time, I call. Here is what I do.
Call them around 1 PM to 3 PM.
As soon as you hear the recording press - 1 1 1 and then 0 0.
I don't have to hear all the boring recording again and again. :)

I called CIC from abroad and talked with an agent about my application sent to them on Feb 28th.

I said I received no answer, no AOR, nothing from them, and just asked the agent if my application is received ot not?

She said they haven't open my package yet and they are working on Feb 15th applications. I said some March applications is approved, she said it depends on the agent who are working on applications.

She advised me to call them back in 3 weeks if I hear no answer from them.

I wish good luck to everyone.

I personally think it is a bit soon for you to expect a reply back from ND. Even my ecas says the same except my application was sent to ND on May 23. My ecas also says "We received ...................................application for permanent residence on February 27, 2012.
Medical results have been received."

Give it another few weeks at least before expecting any reply. Having said that, I guess a few people on this forum said they got a passport request with in two weeks or so from the day the application was sent to ND. So, it is really a matter of time and waiting patiently until we do hear back - I suppose every application can have a different wait time and end result.

If you do hear anything back please do share it with us so the rest of the ND applicants can have an idea of the processing time. I will do the same :-)

I applied at end of January and have a VERY IMPORTANT question...please help! :o :o :o :o I want to contact my MP in Canada about my husband's application. I got my passport request on May 10th and on June 18th, it will be a month since my passport and other documents were received at New Delhi visa office. I want to contact MP soon, it that ok? I have heard that it can delay the processing and when they find your application to give your status to the MP, the application is taken out of line and put at the end? Is that true or not? or will it actually help for MP to contact and remind them to start working on my application? I am also outside of Canada in India now and is it ok to send a signed and scanned copy of my consent form for inquiry into my case my email to my MP? :o :o :o :o
i mean my passport and other documents were received in ND office on May 18th and i am thinking about contacting my MP around June 18th, which is soon. my question is that is it ok to contact my MP one month later, since I have not heard anything about the status except application received?
thanks and good luck to everyone! :)

I would say to wait as the process timing on the website is 6 months so what do you want to contact your MP about?
