FBI Seal is no longer a raised seal,

I just received my fingerprint results from the FBI today (4/15/13). In the envelope was a letter stating that the "FBI Seal is no longer a raised seal" "if you require an Apostille, you must submit this authenticated document to the US dept of State".

Will this be an issue?

The fingerprint results are directly from the FBI not an approved channeler.

Anybody experience this?

No worries, they use a special sheet which you can't fake it and CIC know better just have a copy for your record and submit the original to CIC

When you photo copy it, it will come up with COPY all over it, so you should be good

I got the same - when you copy it, it will say COPY but you can scan it w/o issues
I am sure CIC knows about this new rule

I got a print out from the FBI with my check that stated they no longer did the raised seal. I saved it in my drawer of immigration goodies just in case...
