the best thing to apply for FBI record ASAP

Dear members need your help
I'm not sure if I should apply for the PC from the U.S coz I stayed in the U.S from December 31 till June 28, I didn't complete the 6 months, but it was 2 days less than 6 months, what do you think?

I use the one in BMV licensing agency, the one that issue driver licences. You can call any driver licensing agency to check whether they have such service or not.

Is it possible for your to call up the FBI to find out if they have processed your report? Also please let us know if you put a US address for delivery or an address outside the US.

Can you guys update us on the progress of your FBI PCC, since your 12 weeks is up? I know that the application may still be in the mail, but to know that it has been processed would be a big relief. Thank you very much

I have not got FBI report yet. I am located in US so I have provided US address. You can contact FBI (Contact#: 304-625-5590) to know the status.Thanks.

What should I ask them .. FBI report ? or what ?

I could not find any NY DMV office sites where they mention about FBI channeling ..

there is an email address of CPC in the PCC email. I sent a extention request to that email id .. and also I did a case specific inquiry from the website

PCC Request received @ FBI office: 15-Sep
Request sent to NDVO for due date extension: 24-Oct
Reply received from NDVO: 27-Oct
New Due Date for PCC Submission: 15-Dec

When did you receive you MR request for the first time?
when did you get the extension? how much time did local visa office give for the extension?
Did you send your extension request by email? How much time did VO take to reply to your email?

I am CPC-Ottawa applicant and I am thinking to send a request to VO to request an extension

I called them. they told me it might get done in few days. He told me to call again next week. he said processing has started.

I sent CPC-O an email requesting an extension. Ensure it is a completely new message, and you don't hit reply to their email informing you of the MR. Within a few mins you will get a confirmation email. If you get this, then wait for about a week to get their response.

In the email to me they said that they are aware of the FBI problem and gave me 30 days.

I sent CPC-O an email requesting an extension. Ensure it is a completely new message, and you don't hit reply to their email informing you of the MR. Within a few mins you will get a confirmation email. If you get this, then wait for about a week to get their response.

o_o you do know NDVO gave us 45 day entension rite..! But i guess,, if they acknowledge fbi problem,, they will give more such extensions if the need be.

Hi Guys,

I called the FBI on Friday regarding two of our applications (Me & my wife). They said they are currently working on Sep 3rd applications.

Ours where received on Sep 16th and they asked me to call back in 1st week of Dec.

Thank you. Yes, I know that. It seems that CPC-O gives 60 days initially, and then 30 days extension. NDVO gives 45 days initially, and then 45 days extension. This works out about the same

However, unlike NDVO, they did not say that this would be the last extension or something like that. For me, if everything works out in 12 weeks or even 13 weeks I will be OK, anything beyond that I would have problems. Let's hope for the best.
