Hi Guys,

I called the FBI on Friday regarding two of our applications (Me & my wife). They said they are currently working on Sep 3rd applications.

Ours where received on Sep 16th and they asked me to call back in 1st week of Dec.

Thank you Ezapa Are you sure about this? I know a number of forum members whose applications were received in August, have still not got theirs processed.

They however seem to be opening and inputting the data (i.e. the first step) of applications received in early October. From this, is it possible that you heard/understood Oct 3, instead of Sept 3?

I called today FBI Customer services. They are processing 19th Aug application. My application was received on 22th Aug. So, they asked me to wait for few more days

Thank you very much airan002. I'm sure this would help others in this thread. Looks like the estimate seems to be 13 weeks then. I hope this doesn't slide further.

I am going to Police dept tomorrow to get my finger print done. In the finger print, there is a section which says 'Employer and address'. What should I put there.

What about sections like Height, Weight, Eyes, Hair, Race,etc. Should I put or the police officer will put that.

I assume that you mean Police Department in the US. If not, please ignore whatever I have said below.

First, generally the PD or whoever is doing the fingerprints gives you the Fingerprint form or Card. Yes, it is not a simple printout, but something more firm than regular paper. So if you don't have the card, hold off till you get it from the PD.

Next, some employers in the US need the FBI report for employment. In that case you need to put their address for the 'Employer and address'. If you are doing this for immigration, you can leave it blank.

Height, Weight, Eyes, Hair, Race, etc <- you will need to fill out when given the Finger print card. I did fingerprinting twice and they did not check it. However to be safe just ensure it is similar to your ID i.e. your drivers license. A small difference e.g. weight for example should not matter.

How did you do "Case specific inquiry" for CPC? Could share the link to the website

there is an email address of CPC in the PCC email. I sent a extention request to that email id .. and also I did a case specific inquiry from the website

I think Ezapa has got the correct information from FBI. My personal guess is that they must be past 3rd Sep by now. Whenever you call them they are giving you a date which is just months back. But if you see the report of the persons who had already received then you will get to know

For eg. I know 2 persons those who had already got their reports. I am sharing their time lines

Received 11th Aug
They put it on their machine on 21st oct
Completed on 3rd nov

Received 12th Aug
They put it on their machine on 23st oct
Completed on 5rd nov

I know a person whose application reached on 21st Aug and he called yesterday. This is what they said
It might get done in few days. Call again next week. Your Processing has started.

My personal feeling is that they are past 21st Aug. It seems the call center guys do not have the information. So they just telling a date which is 3 months back. Or they might want to keep their 12 weeks timelines which they mentioned.

Ask them the record number. Also ask them whether your finger prints had been accepted by the system or not. But this time they should be able to tell that. By the way, which address did you give ? India or US ?

I didn't ask the record number. I asked whether my finger prints have been accepted or not. They told they don't have information. I have given Belgium address. They asked me to wait for couple of days.

I requested for extension with NDVO - original date to submit was dec 16, but got extension until March 30 now ( they said they are giving 60 days extension, but gave date until Mar 30, not sure how this happened). What is the likely date I will be getting report from FBI?

dont worry about this, you will get in Jan 2015 (latest), forward to them as soon as you get. this ambiguity does not matter.

Wow akashsar!!! ;D Looks like you are running the FBI I am curious how you got that information i.e. how you know when they had their applications put into the machine. I am also really surprised why it takes 2 weeks from the time they put it into the machine till they receive the results. The FBI Channlers are supposed to go through the same system and they receive their results in a few hours.

Anyway, I hope they can finish processing up to Aug 22nd by the end of this week. Next, week is going to more like a holiday because of Thanksgiving.

I just now got reply from Ottawa. They granted me extension of 30 days for FBI PCC. I already mailed Meds, RPRF, and India PCC yesterday. FBI Application received on Sept 19...

60 days extension? thats quite great .. thanks for the info .. but My VO is cpp-O i am not sure when they will reply me back .. my deadline is jan 10
