I am Canadian citizen and living in Alberta and i have read under cic website that you can sponsor your
family. I want to sponsor my brother to come to Canada and he's 35 yrs old and married. Im living alone and not married. They say that you can sponsor a brother if you're not married. However, our parents are still alive and they are in Philippines. Can i still sponsor my brother? If you can give me any ideas on this. Thanks.

Sorry, you cannot sponsor your brother. You can sponsor some family (your children, your spouse, your parents, etc) but not siblings. You would need to have no living relatives in order to be allowed to sponsor your brother.
