Arranged employment rules are not clear at this point. For new immigrants or students who manage to get a job offer then they can get the 600 points that is offered. This is not fair game as far as I see it. In other words, they are saying that people who are working currently will get maximum of 80 points and if they get an offer letter again (which is the "VALID" one) they can get upto 680 points. Hence, go and get your valid job offer or stay in the pool for an year otherwise.maniac2403 said:From carefully reading the gazette, CIC web page, I infer that CEC is no longer a straightforward path to apply for a PR. ITA's are handed out to individuals who rank higher on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Canadian work experience definitely adds points, but up to a maximum of 80 points for bachelors and 70 for married folks.
Arranged employment rules are not clear at this point. For new immigrants or students who manage to get a job offer then they can get the 600 points that is offered. For people who already have jobs in Canada, they could technically state that they have arranged employment (since candidates are already working in Canada). The bold and underlined statement needs more clarification and right now all we can do is play the guessing game.
Whats the whole point of giving the Open Work permit after completing post secondary diploma and spending almost $30000 CAD in your colleges?
