Hi! have a bit of strange situation here. Yesterday got a mesage on my CIC with the following info:

The questions are:
Why I'm receiving messages with regards to someone's profile??? Will it affect my aplication somehow???
Guys, will be more than thankful for any responce.

HI buddy, I would say try to open the ECAS for this application that you received thinking that it could be of someone else. Verify if you could log in to the ECAS and if did so then verify the address etc. Then send a CSE to CIC regarding the same. This could be technical glitch coz CIC upgraded their systems on Saturday and I am not surprised it could be the reason of corrupted data and you have to verify and report the same soon to them ASAP.

From day one, there were two line in ECAS - each of those had had my name and in "Permanent Residence Application Status" - each had shown the same status. when I click on the status I can see three lines in one of them (with the correct dates) and 2 lines (wrong dates) in another. Is it a common practice or something was wrong in my ECAS from the very beginning?

Hello Everyone,

I did my PR landing on Friday July 24 and I am now officially a permanent resident. The application on Mycic was approved and closed on July 21. I did my landing at rainbow bridge niagara falls. I did it by foot and walked across the bridge (as my friend who was driving forgot to bring his passport) with an amazing view of the falls at night. My whole process took about 40 minutes max to complete on both sides (including the walk accross the bridge). I would recommend going through pedestrian lines as the wait times are very low. I went on a very busy tourist filled Friday night and made it out quicker than most of the cars I saw waiting in line.

Overall my experience was good except for the border official on the Canadian side when I did my landing was very rude and seemed like she hated her job lol. Also was a perfect opportunity to hit the casino and try my luck, unfortunately I didn't win anything

Hi everyone!

12 days since I received my PPR and requested CIC to allow me and submit my passport in the country of my residence instead. Still no response. PPR letter says I should send my passport within 30 days of receiving the request. Any suggestions?

Hi All,

I completed my flag polling at Rainbow bridge today. This was smoothest. I reached the bridge around 8 AM. I walked to the US end where the US officer asked my purpose of arrival. Before I could have said anything, he himself said "Are you here for flag poling". I just said yes.

He then issued me a admin refusal latter in just 2 mins, and asked me to follow the same way back to Canada. When I reached Canada check point, again there was no one except me and an officer. The Canada process took only 10 mins more.

Congrats rashu268 for updating your experience. I'm in On also, good to know about Rainbow Bridge flag point is easier for landing.

I did my landing yesterday at Kingsgate in BC. No questions, done in half an hour. They told me pr card will come in 3 months till it comes I can travel only if I apply for travel document.

things, what I was worried about (and have seen others worried), but then they weren't issue. I hope it helps for some to stress less.
-I've changed my POF what I had in my EE profile to less in my APR application
-the dates in ECAS till today are not right
-Ecas again: application received never changed to be in Process
-didn't get any update email in mycic till ppr
-no documents were required
-never got second AOR
-I was under implied status for more than two months, and received my pr earlier, than my BOWP

I cant be thankful enough for everyone on this forum and I hope all of you reach your dreams

Hi Iceberg - He asked if i have committed any crimes, and how much i had in my name.

On the US side, he asked for my documents and if i had ever been refused entry into the US. Hope this helps

Hi Favoured01 one quick information if you don't mind, are you single applicant or you have any dependent, like spouse.
I am curies since you received PPR in very short time. Just want know how CIC process application for single applicant and how they process with dependent applicant.

Hey guys, did my landing at Pacific border. Here is the rest of my timeline:

15 May: eCAS Decision Made
10 July: PPR
14 July: Passport Received by CIC
21 July: Canada Post return tracker activated
22 July: Passport received
24 July: Flagpolled and did my landing. Also got new SIN#.

Flagpolling was easy. 10 mins at US border ad 15 mins at Canadian border. The CBSA officer asked only 2 questions: a) If I have any dependents. b) if I have been convicted of any crime since my application. That was it. Thank you very much for all your support and wishing everyone the best in their endeavors. Please PM for any questions.

Finally done with all PR formalities and now i am a Permanent Resident.

04 July: Passport Sent
06 July: Passport Received by CIC
14 July: Canada Post return tracker activated

Even after submitting additional documents i.e. Schedule-4 I am not able to login into ECAS to check online application status.
I am trying with EXXXXXXXX number and UCI number both but

Take the screenshots and send the CSE and they may look in to this and may close the other or fix the bug.

The THING is - it's NOT my application number. My is - E******25!! .
(ITA - 27 mar, AOR - 1 may, ECAS In process since june 17, FSW, outlander.

Before that a had three lines in my cic:
1)E******42 - early profile which i made not elligeble myself (it was my first attempt) (status - Profile Ineligible)
2) E*****25 - Permanent Residency (staus - submitted )
3) E*****25 - Express Entry. Here before this stupid mail status was something like "ITA accepted" and now it's become "not eligible"

I think you should submit a CSE as soon as possible, they have a short turn around time for technical glitches.
Also a good call center agent maybe able to help you out with this.

Thanks for replies! I'll send CSE first thing tomorrow morning. Hope my story won't sound too complicated and they'll be able to address the issue. Really hope that it was just their attempts to fix the ghost-profile and that it won't affect my existing permanent residency profile :-X

might be due to recent maintenance/upgrade activity done by cic for their web site.
