Passport upload option appeared for me in the initial check list but just a couple of days back when I logged into the system it vanished.
I'm worried now.

That's exactly what happened: it wasn't on my required documents checklist.
I'm thinking the same as you, it was probably an issue with the website.

And I even had is scanned, to be honest I just realized that I didn't upload it because someone else had an issue with it.
Never crossed my mind they wouldn't ask for something that important.

Got an update: Medical Passed today and ECAS also start showing up.
Although It says Application received with just one line.

Anyone on the same page or anyone knows what is the next step for ECAS?

Another update: Requested CELPIP (Although I did upload it in my Education documents when I submitted my application in Feb)

Nevertheless submitted again within 30 minutes.

I got the 3rd line on ECAS on May 12th, so we have similar timelines, I think.
Next step, for what I've seen happens in about a month from now, when they issue PPR or in the meanwhile, request for additional documents.

Same here. I submitted my Application on Monday, 11th May. Next day I was able to access ECAS which states that my Application was received on January 1st and started processing on March 8th.

I had done my medicals in early April, hence my medicals changed to Passed on 12th May. Now they are processing background check and reviewing submitted documents.

When I applied, I could not find the section to upload the passports. So I uploaded them as part of the National Identity card. Hopefully that works.

Same here. I submitted my Application on Monday, 11th May. Next day I was able to access ECAS which states that my Application was received on January 1st and started processing on March 8th.

I had done my medicals in early April, hence my medicals changed to Passed on 12th May. Now they are processing background check and reviewing submitted documents.

ECAS - Application Received

1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 28, 2015.
2. We started processing your application on March 5, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.

Hello, I need your help. I finally got an update on my application, and I was requested 4 additional documents. Here is why I am confused. Under each document it says that it must be received by today, May 14. However, at the bottom of the letter it says that the above documents must be received within 7 days. So do I really have 7 days, or do I have to submit them today. I called CIC and the agent told me he doesn't know, so I really hope you guys can help.

If you have the document in question summit it today. If you don't, there is really nothing you can do but work with the 7 days. In most cases and depending on the document being asked for, you are usually given 7 days to provide it.

1.CELPIP
2.Schedule 4 for provincial nominees.
3. Schedule 4a. I have no idea why they asked for schedule 4a, as it is only relevant if you were nominated as a business, or self-employed, and I am neither. I called CIC again, but I didn't get any explanation why I was requested this form.

So I guess I was requested 3 documents, not 4

You are lucky, you should be able to get those in one day, don't waste time
