Sorry for taking so long to update on my landing process, but let me share with all of you.

My wife and I did our landing on February 28th. As most of us, we were very anxious about it and had lots of expectation.

The process for us was so simple that at the end, before taking the train to downtown we both stopped for a while not believing it was done already.

Process was like this:

1- We landed at the Toronto airport and proceed to the regular counter to show passports
2- We got to the counter and mentioned we were there for our short landing, the lady told us to proceed to the immigration room right next door
3- We were the only ones at this room, an officer greeted us and asked for our paperwork. he gave a quick look and asked how much money we were bringing: I said only a small amount at this time but had my proof of funds letter..he said OK but did not look at it at all. he told us to sit and wait until our names were called
4- 10 minutes later he called us to the counter, gave us the paperwork and said: welcome do Canada
5- We went for our luggage (2 bags only)
6- After we got them we asked where should we go for the Goods and Goods to Follow paperwork. They took us to another room and looked at the papers
7- Officer told us to wait
8- 10 minutes later he asked if that was we wanted to bring to Canada later on, we confirmed, they gave us a signed copy of the papers and let us go...

That is it, the entire process probably took us 30 minutes!!!!!

The next day we went to a Services Canada office for our SIN number, my wife's was all good and she left with her number already, mine had an issue (seems very common for it to happen) so I had to apply manually and provide an address in Canada so they could mail it when ready. Got the confirmation today that it is on its way and should arrive in the next couple of days.

We are back in Brazil now, a relative will mail us the PR cards, but right now we are finishing our jobs and already sending CVs for new jobs in Toronto. Sent about 10 CVs but no answer on it.

We were in Ontario for 2 weeks and at that time we were able to visit various immigrant support organizations that shared valuable tips with us, was worth it.

Hope it works for all of you as well!!!

Great to know! Really good detailed description! Thanks.

Hi, all!
I got my GCMS Notes :D
I am not sure I understood it completely, but I'd like to share some info and doubts:

First page, summary:
- Primary Office: Centralized Intake Office
- Secondary Office: CPC Ottawa
=> Does that mean my file has not yet been transferred to my LVO?

- RPRF: complete
- Criminality: Passed
- Medical: Passed
- Security: Not started

Fast forward to the end of the document (165 pages later...), there is a note created on 16/feb/2017 that confirms medical passed, fee payment, language tests verified and then ends with: "...Documents set for review: education documents, proof of funds, police certificates".

And the last note updated 01/mar/2017:
- Label: EE Eligibility
- Office: Centralized Intake Office
- Text: "**AGENT REVIEW** POLICE CERTIFICATES R10 OK. All police certificates on application; following PC's NRT BRAZIL (validated on website). Criminality Decision Passed. EDUCATION DOCUMENTS ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site. ECA Canadian Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as MASTERS DEGREE. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by PA under EE Eligibility. SPOUSE'S EDUCATION ECA report verified; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by SP under EE Eligibility. AGE Applicant'a age reviewed and no change from ITA to e-APR."
--

=> So, I could say that I'm going through the R10 check? And it seems my Proof of Funds is still to be verified...

I thought my application would be at LVO-Sao Paulo by now...but, oh well... I need a little bit more patience!! ::)

Wishing patience to everyone!!!

Thanks for your update. So, when did you order your GCMS notes and when were they issued? And where did you get them from? GCMSnow?

Your notes seem very much like mine... R10 ok, criminality passed, but still pending A11.2 recommendation and file has not been transferred yet. Usually the file is transferred to LVO shortly after the analyst recommendation on A11.2.

I ordered them via Visafile.info on March, 16th. They were generated March, 17th (date shown on footnote of the document), but I only received them on April 12th.

How about your BC value? When did it go back to NA?

I think you ordered them at a reasonable time, you should have seen the A11.2 recommendation... On my case the file was issued on Feb 13th and the R10 comment was on Feb 10th.. But in your case there was almost 2 weeks... Strange!

I mean, don't worry, this is not bad... It just seems that they've slowed down quite a bit that's all!

So, my BC was like this:
BC: NS=>NN (02/mar/2017)
After the new system update (07/mar/2017) - Eligibility in Progress and BG: NA

Well, to maintain the sanity, I am convincing myself that I will hopefully receive the golden e-mail by July: it's the "worst case scenario" according to Myimmitracker and the 6 month mark. ???
*fingers crossed*

You're perfect! You ordered GCMS notes about 2 weeks after BC turned to NA... I've no idea why yours took so long, you should have seen the A11.2 recommendation and seen it transferred to SPVO...

Yes, I'm also trying to set my expectations to July... But seeing so many people at the forum get their golden email is not helping :P

Over 5 months of wait here... Just ordered my second GCMS Notes.
Really hard to deal with this slowness when it comes to SPVO and PNP.
