Do not worry about your passport, you have 30 days to send your passport to SP. Moreover, I think your process may take a little but more time due to your AOR date.

Hey guys,

Unfortunately the company that I worked for three years in Brazil closed down two years ago. I am gathering all the reference letters from my past employers and I am kinda stuck on what I should write on the letter. My former supervisor will sign whatever I write, but ive been wondering if they would accept a letter explaining the situation together with pay stubs and the translation of my contract. I would include my duties in that letter too. Am I missing something else that I should include in the application?

Bom gente! Mais um aqui desesperado para ir ao Canada ou sair do Brasil.. ou Ambos.. rs!

Comecei em outubro do ano passado pedindo um ECA e fiz o IELTS em Janeiro... no mesmo dia em que saiu o resultado eu abri o meu perfil no EE.

Alguns dias depois recebi uma notificação de interesse de Ontario - OINP corri para juntar tudo e submeti no inicio de Março.

Recebi o meu AOR do processo de PNP-OINP faz umas duas semanas, mas não espero receber a nominação no curto prazo.. não sei bem o que acontece mas me parece que estão com um fila IMENSA lá de pessoas e vai demorar, pois estão dando prioridade para CEC e tem muitos desses esperando desde Nov/2015.. Logo até chegar aos FSW de Março/2016... Vai demorar!

Meu CRS é 439 então se algo acontecer em novembro e a pontuação limite cair (há rumores que eles vão abolir o LMIA e abrir as porteiras em Outubro) ai talvez dê certo e consiga um ITA como a maioria aqui.. Ai começo a passar pelo que vocês estão passando, mas por enquanto estou na espera e a mercê da OINP.

You are very lucky that your former supervisor is willing to sign your letter. Here in Brazil I've seen a lot of situations where the company still exists and the employees do not want to sign anything. My only doubt is if you can use a paper with the company's letterhead knowing that the company doesnt exist anymore. Your paystubs, yearly tax reports (Comprovante de Rendimentos para declaração de I.R.) and contract will help a lot.

Opa colega, seja bem-vindo ao nosso tópico. Todos aqui torcendo uns pelos outros. Minha opinião pessoal é que não irão abrir as porteiras e as notas não irão cair. No máximo voltar ao ritmo antigo (450/460 pontos). Então, com o convite da província, o que você deve fazer é esperar, esperar e esperar... Vai ser uma longuíssima espera, tenha paciência, que tudo dará certo! Nos mantenha atualizados. Abraço!

If you can get a reference letter from a coworker with all the information that CIC requests, then they might just consider that as the letter they request from the company.

In my application I sent the letter from my coworker along with several other documents that showed my duties separate from my other information and I saw on the GCMS notes that they used my coworker letter as a proof of my experience.

I also included a letter explaining the reason my coworker signed the letter along with all the other documents I got from my employer when submitting the application.
