no one knows fro sure, I'm stuck with 474 points and try to comfort myself with the thoughts that the scores will get lower. Let's hope that they still need skilled migrants even in the wake of a crisis.motocheck said:guys with OINP being suspended.. is there any hope for CRS between 450 -460 ...
These links are referring to the citizenship rules, not PR.Nasa2n2 said:The CRS system is full of mess and finally they are paying some attention to correct and balance this system which is dropping international students even with 2 years of Canadian experience in high skill jobs A, B, and 0. I hope these changes would come soon and grant 600 points for anyone who got university education in Canada.

“We must do more to attract students to this country as permanent residents. International students have been shortchanged by the Express Entry system. They are the cream of the crop in terms of potential future Canadians and so I certainly would like to work with my provincial and territorial colleagues to improve that," said Mr. McCallum.MH_A said:These links are referring to the citizenship rules, not PR.
Thanks for sharing this news. At last I saw someone paying attention to us. I hope it actually has something for us and not just be a nice talk!Nasa2n2 said:“We must do more to attract students to this country as permanent residents. Hi, any source on this?Sluffy said:During Newcomers Canada Fair in Edmonton CIC officials announced that in next couples of month the draws will be smaller in numbers and higher in score, but starting from September or later the round will count around 2000+ ITA's with the score likely to decrease.
I'm not allowed to post links yet, but you can find video on YouTube using words _Seminar "Express Entry: A new way of attracting Skilled Immigrants"_ published by A Portuguese in Canadaee2015 said:Hi, any source on this?

I assume it would be as inaccurate as weather apps lol
Great idea for a programming student.... ;D
yes, this guy confirmed my thoughts that those who get drawn from the pool at this point are people with PhD, speaking both English and French and with Canadian Experience.av said:watch video from minutes 16:00 "Starting from Sep/Oct, there will be larger draws, 2000-2500 per draw"
yeah, maybe trying to get some views on YouTube lolnighcrawler said:yes, this guy confirmed my thoughts that those who get drawn from the pool at this point are people with PhD, speaking both English and French and with Canadian Experience.
However he also said that by October they'll be drawing 2000-2500 people and the scores might drop lower than 400!
However, he also said that currently they were drawing with scores about 450 and 420 (I definitely heard him saying 420), but that's just not true - there hasn't been a draw with scores that low... So can we trust him on scores dropping in September/October?
Probably he doesn't remember the exact figures, because he also said the last draw was 540 (534 really). But overall trend seems to be clear.nighcrawler said:However, he also said that currently they were drawing with scores about 450 and 420 (I definitely heard him saying 420), but that's just not true - there hasn't been a draw with scores that low...
